Well, this was actually originally tweeted on the 17nth. As noted, this was posted later on here than intended. It happens~
Maxx “C”, that said, is not going anywhere. It doesn’t hurt the OCG like it did with the TCG. Albeit, the TCG could easily get it back too. It’s a matter of different priorities and different playstyles. Floodgates are significantly more popular in the TCG, so they often get hit more. Exceptions can exist, of course. Our spam cards are hit more consistently than the OCG’s, which is why they actually need Maxx “C” to help battle spam. Of course, both are different answers to different formats. Just like Master Duel, the TCG and OCG are very different games.
The main similarities are often product-related anyway.
