I do not care how good it may or may not be, Psychic.dek was one of my favorite things ever.
Same, Pure Paychic is a joy to behold! My favourite monster ever is Black Rose Dragon, and my hope is That they will one day make a psychic-type version of him because of lore reasons…. Maybe Mind Rose Dragon, or Android Rose Dragon, which is a fire Psychic-type with the same level and stats, with one effect to banish everything on Summon, and a second effect to pay 1500 LP to change a monsters DEF to 0, and if it’s in Attack Position, change it to face-up difference position. And to make it in theme make it so all it’s material must be Psychic-type.

i was a core user of psychics in my yugioh friend group (the other deck being synchron, which i didn’t use much of later) I legit still have my banish psychic deck in my deck box, with some newer one-off/free agent psychics that we got drip-fed through-out odd sets.
So for Teleport Fusion, since it says “banish from the field”, would this count pendulum zones? If so, I’d love to test this in Metalfoes.
Aren’t pendulums treated as spells while in the Pendulum Zone? I don’t think Teleport Fusion would work on them
Pendulums set as scales are not monsters, so unless it specifically mentions them like Pendulum fusion, it won’t work for those.
For pendulum zones, it would have to say something like monster “card(s)” on your field, instead of monsters on your field.

takes me back to my ultimate Axon Kicker Miracle Synchro Fusion turbo days. Back when you didn’t get as severely punished for trying to have fun in this game. All that’s missing now is some rock support so i can play gorgonic again
I used flash fusion as a alternate way (one of the few fusions that doesn’t just “die” off to the destructive ep clause of it cost) all my rogue strategies seems to be eating alot, lately. heraldics/performages.
You absolutely can still have fun in yugioh. Back in the day you would get just as punished for trying to have fun.

I feel like like Divine (Sayer) was supposed to have a bigger role in 5ds. He was the only person to use Psychics in 5ds and it was the first new type in Yugioh. I feel like Konami must of had bigger plans for it.
Technically, it was the second new Type. Machines weren’t in the first year of the OCG, or the first core set in the TCG.
It’s no secret that 5D’s second season was rewritten due to several production issues and between Akiza’s VA becoming pregnant and Carly’s VA being involved in actual, unironic cult entire plotline where Divine was involved kinda collapsed. Even his final fate was only explained in random data book – apparently he survived being eaten by Misty’s Earthbound Immortal and completely offscreen was caught by police and put into the jail.
It wasn’t Aki’s VA getting pregnant.
It’s because she basically was throwing herself at literally every live action TV production that would take her.
She basically never did anime after 5D’s, transitioning to a VERY long and successful TV acting career.
I’m tired of people talking about Carly’s VA being in a cult, that was debunked a long time ago
I love how these cards symbolize all 3 Psychic variants during the 5D’s era.
Classic, Synchro Fusion, and banish Psychic
It’s interesting that Psychic Blaster MK-II seems to be a mix of Hyper Psychic Blaster and its Assault Mode version.
It’s rare for me to have nostalgia, but the psychic type brought me back to yugioh. I remember all these cards and making a deck out of them. Sure, it was cheeks, but it was a fun time. I’m a bit miffed that Konami just refuses to make a Hyper Psychic archetype (despite constantly teasing it), but I like these. Even if Psychics need more of an endpieces for it to work. (e-tele searcher is crazy though)
I personally think that new Thought Ruler should have been an Omni-Negate considering the OG Thought Ruler had already an effect that allowed him to negate Spell and Trap effects that selected a Psychic monster by paying 1000 LP. A better version of that effect could have been amazing.

Suggestions: Krebons, Telekinetic Shocker, Destructotron, Grapple Blocker, Psychic Jumper, Stormcaller, Serene Psychic Witch, Armored Axon Kicker, Final Psychic Ogre, Hushed Psychic Cleric, Genetic Woman, Pandaborg, HTS Psyhemuth, Magical Android and Psychic Lifetrancer. Just a few.
Serene Psychic Witch upgrade is the monster in Parallel Teleport. The two things she holds look similar to what witch has.

This deck looks freaking awesome! The best taregt for the fusion monster’s graveyard effect is myutant synthesis,surprisingly. Looks great but they need a seond wave,also the current strength of the archetype is barely enough to warrant a psychic lock

Not a big fan of these. Looks like some boost to P.U.N.K., which is some annoying combo Deck.
Those are almost incompatible with Punk as Punk uses many non-Psychic monsters from the extra deck. Sure, there’s a bit of overlap, but little of that will actually stick.
the psychic lock actually hurts quite a bit, there are good extra deck monsters like shen shen but nothing crazy. they will probably try to set up a couple of floodgates and then wipe the board with the fusion, probably searching for gamma as well.
Sad that Battle Teleportation was excluded, one of the many cases of a trap with nothing trap-ish about it, really just a spell with built-in Anti-Spell Fragrance as a balancing factor. Nvm, the Japanese name wouldn’t be compatible anyway.

Crazy that we got this effect before destroying an opponent’s monster and gaining LP. That’s some messed up tech tree. Zexal had so many Volcasaurus copy paste jobs but nothing that did the reverse.

OMG! i think this opens quite a lot of stuff, sadly the psychic lock hinders Nightmell the Dark Bonder, but we can special summon it from deck now. you can search Gamma, and probably other dumb stuff as well.
