No ranran cards sad
But plant cards YEY:D
Clemantis is mediocre even with its buff. Needs to be Normal Summoned, has to be switched to face up Defense Position, requires monsters in the GY for the revival, and needing your LP to be the same or higher than your opponent’s in a Deck that doesn’t care about LP gain. Vulnerable to GY disruption and non-battle removal.
Dance now requires you to control a monster to activate, but can now reduce the ATK of your opponent’s non-Plant monsters for the turn, remedying their aces’ below average ATK values. A Recovery Force for the theme but definitely came out too late to help much now.
The new Etraynze can be Special Summoned in the GY by the original, gives Shadow Flowers easier access to their Fusions, and lets you control the bottom card of your Deck.
Honestly, Clematis’s buff makes me think that he will receive a Fusion Monster in the future since he can now recover any Plant Monster from the GY.
I agree with Bruno Santos. Shadow Flower Fan Clematis is probably getting a Fusion, perhaps in the next Core Booster for Rush, which Clematis neatly sets up.
Beyond that, I’m just glad we got something Rino used.
why do they keep changing what this decks playstyle is because it’s flipping between 3 things that only synergize because of the loosely tied battle position manipulation
Because three different Duelists use the cards.
Honestly, don’t expect Shadow Flower support in this pack, especially with the reveal coming this December 16th.
However, I now wonder if the Shadow Flower support reveal on December 16 was this or is it related to future Shadow Flower support coming out in Transamu of Transcendence.
