With over 110 cards new to Speed Duel, you can get your friends together for a legit out-of-the-box tournament experience. This sequel to last year’s Speed Duel: Streets of Battle City is a must-have for any Duelist!

Speed Duel: Battle City Finals features:
    • Pre-built Decks for Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Mai Valentine, Yami Bakura, Odion, Ishizu Ishtar, and Yami Marik.

    • Brand-new Skill Cards for new and returning characters. Use your Egyptian God Cards in whole new ways!

    • Additional cards to expand your Speed Duel collection. Build new Decks and power up ones you already own with some of the strongest Speed Duel cards ever released!

    • A set of Prismatic Secret Rare Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and The Winged Dragon of Ra to use for Yami Yugi’s, Seto Kaiba’s, and Yami Marik’s Decks.

    • 30 Prismatic Secret Rare cards to add to your collection! Find cards such as Joker’s Knight, Lava Golem, Mudora the Sword Oracle, Doomcaliber Knight, Injection Fairy Lily, Breakthrough Skill, Swords of Revealing Light, and Maxx “C”!

    • 9 random Prismatic Secret Rares included in each box.

    • Play with it out of the box on its own, along with the Speed Duel: Streets of Battle City set Decks, or any other Speed Duel set you already own!

Each Speed Duel: Battle City Finals box contains:

    200 Common Cards
    20 Skill Cards
3 Prismatic Secret Rare God Cards (Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and The Winged Dragon of Ra)
9 (of 30) Prismatic Secret Rare Cards
1 Two-Player Deluxe Game Mat (ft. Yami Yugi, Joey Wheeler, Seto Kaiba, and Yami Marik)

To use a card in Speed Duel, it must have the Speed Duel Symbol on the card. Cards without the Symbol are not legal for use in Speed Duel, but Speed Duel cards can be used in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. Skill Cards may only be used in Speed Duel.

    Note:

Speed Duel cards while legal in the TCG, are designed for their own format, and that this only legalizes “Maxx C”, for Speed Duels, not regular events. This reprint in no way guarantees “Maxx C” will be moved to Limited or higher on the Forbidden & Limited List.

I don’t know what’s wilder: that Speed Duel continues to receive products despite all the bad news around it or that the TCG is reprinting Maxx “C”.

It is a gift for the Tengu format players.

Konami TCG just confirmed that this will be the last Speed Duel product

      • Pep on July 9, 2024 6:26 pm

That is incorrect, @You’re Mom. The exact wording of the press release was “the product line will be pausing for a rest.” Pausing does not equal cancelation.

      • kuroisepu on July 9, 2024 11:40 pm

but the reality is that this might be the last set, and it’s a possibility. They pause it for the time being, they might start doing it again, or they might just forget about it and never coming back to speed duel, and I think the possibility of the latter is very high.

      • Pep on July 10, 2024 7:03 am

For sure, it’s a possibility. I’m just making the correction of what Konami stated to clear up misinformation.

That’s wild a Maxx “C” reprint? It had better not come back, but it seems to be a good check to the current metagame though.
