    Monster Effects:
    You can only use the (1)st, (2)nd and (3)rd effects of this card’s name each once per turn.
    (1) If you control a “Performage” monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
    (2) If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can activate 1 of these effects;
    ● Add 1 “Performage” Pendulum Monster from your Deck to your Extra Deck face-up.
    ● Destroy 1 “Performage” Monster Card you control.
    (3) When an opponent’s Special Summoned monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your GY.

        Yep!

        * It’s a low-Scale that can easily act as another high-Scale.
        * It can search Performage Pendulums when its Monster Effect combos with Cup Tricker’s Pendulum Effect.
        * It’s another self-Summoning in-theme Pendulum, perfect for going into Beyond the Pendulum to setup Pendulum Summons/Scales.
        * Like in the show, it’ll provide itself as a chump blocker against direct attacks, now while also letting you trigger its new on-Summon effect again.
        * It acts as an in-theme means to destroy your own Plushfire.

        Yeah. I just wonder if they could print other anime cards in this set after this one, like the 3 ancient gear dog fusions. Is there hope?

      I still wonder if they’ll print Windy and Lightnings anime decks with judgment arrows

        I have a suspicion Konami does not want to print Link Spells because they would turn into rulings nightmares (I mean for starters under Master Rules Link Monsters never “point to” the S/T Zones so its activation requirement is a non-starter).

        That would likely be released alongside Aramatos Legio or Hydradrive. Windy is not possible, as their deck, Stormriders, focused on having no cards in their Spell/Trap Zone, which Judgment Arrows would take up.
        That said, I’m unsure whether the comment was separating Windy and Lightning from the statement of wanting their decks, alongside Judgment Arrows.

      Best case scenario it destroys your Plushfire and can be used as Link or Xyz Material soon after, but pretty mediocre nonetheless.

      This monster is sure to get the ball rolling!

      Happy to see another Performage (especially as I didnt have to wait another decade). I was hoping they would print this one as its effect is one of the few in-archtype ways to get a pendulum monster out of the grave, but they didn’t buff it like I hoped they would, so it’s still a last resort. I’ll always take a free special summon from the hand though.

      The obvious synergy is that if you have Cup Tricker in your Pendulum Zone, this card’s effect to add a Peformage to your Extra Deck effectively becomes “add to your hand” instead. Thus the deck already has a second (if circumstantial) searcher.

      There are now 8 pendulum and 1 non-pendulum Performage monsters left unreleased.

      But Hot Surprise was all I ever wanted. Still waiting.
