Mill engine for plants. The effect is irrelevant, but Flower Fangs etc really like their cards to be in GY. OG Aipiris is a good card on it’s own and Flower Fangs are mostly Fusion-centric so this fits into that deck as one-of, I guess?
Mas com essa porcaria de design, nunca vou usar coisas assim , eu tenho orgulho próprio e minha identidade, nem crianças acham esse tipo de coisa legal, quem compra essas coisas?
English website, latinx!
The LP gain is for Clematis, who requires you to have equal or higher LP than the opponent.
This card is entirely designed to prop Clematis’s effect which needs 3 or more Plants in the GY.
Anova, calm down, burger eater
@Salgueiro you wont even be able to play a japan-exclusive card on your country anyways huehue monkey
Wtf is wrong with you racist losers?
One ,You shouldn’t have said that, you liar, and now you’re going to pay dearly
Furthermore, there are many more black people in your country than in mine.
Hmm. In some ways, this Fusion Monster reminds me of that Fusion Moment they gave Romanpick back in the day: the original card is good, but the Fusion Monster itself isn’t so good.
Of course, compared to that Fusion Monster, Alpiris the Nurturer is a bit better since it’s easier to bring onto the field and is much more generic in Fusion Materials. However, it’s already rare for Shadow Flower (an EARTH Plant Deck) to use a LIGHT Plant Deck to begin with.
The original Alpiris is also LIGHT and designated anime support, taking an anime slot in Fortissimo of the Whirlwinds and later used by Ranran.
Shadow Flowers don’t care too much about Attribute, more so Type and vanilla status. Only a handful of cards – almost all early – care about Attribute. Etraynze Sprinting and Gekka only recover vanillas which wouldn’t apply to Alpiris anyway. Planting Pixie also factors an opponent’s Attributes – and LIGHT is very common. True Clone requires a Level 7 which again wouldn’t apply here. Bedazzlement and Gajumaru are very niche.
The Fusion is generic – Restricter can copy Alpiris’s name – and is a mill 3 with LP gain which matters for Gekka and Clematis. Planting Pixie sets up the Fusion very easily too.
Ranran gets a new Fusion for a card she only used once. Meanwhile her Blanc Fusions and anime backrow are nowhere to be seen.
This card isn’t that bad. Relatively generic materials and mills 3 to set up a specific interaction.
