The 8.88 million Velgearians are nearing the end of their lifespan, and they want Tazaki to keep it a secret from Yudias. Tazaki agrees, and asks Asaka for help with this, but she vehemently refuses. Not wanting to give up, Tazaki challenges Asaka to a Duel!

Honest to goodness, this was a really heavy episode. Like, the desperation Tazaki felt and the way he tried to push through it before breaking down in the end… I didn’t expect things to get this heavy this quickly.
And the animation quality was absolutely on-point to boot.
