Two hybrid strategies use the possibly game-warping Spell.

Summaries:

Welcome to the second batch of videos in a revival of my Five-Minute Testing series, each centered around using the new Spell Card Time-Rending Morganite to empower a rogue theme. If you missed the first batch, check it out here: CDP: Aromage and Blackwing. Today’s first FMT video focuses on the Branded archetype built around Fallen of Albaz, combined with the Spellbook archetype. Together, these themes provide layers of control elements, with Albion the Incandescent Dragon (YGOrg Translation) being able to be Fusion Summoned via Branded Fusion with Albaz and Jowgen the Spiritualist, before Special Summoning Jowgen during your opponent’s turn and preventing further Special Summons. Combine that with the power of Spellbook of Judgment, Spellbook of Fate, and the new Blazing Branded King (YGOrg Translation) Trap Card, and your opponent won’t be able to fight back… at all. At least that’s what the Spellbook of Knowledge tells me.

Today’s second FMT video focuses on the Mayakashi Zombie archetype, combined with the recent Zombie World support suite. The first archetype focuses on chain Synchro Summoning from Level 3 through 11, then Link Summoning up to a Link 4, all with the help of Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi. On the other side of this strategy is the Zombie World support, looking to lock down your opponent’s monsters, turning them to Zombies and freezing them out of making plays entirely with the help of Doomking Balerdroch and Rivalry of Warlords. See what happens when they gain assistance from Morganite for Extra Normal Summons, even when the Mayakashi theme does not open its combos well!
