Note: Might be C(h)amael + Martha, but is likely also Karma + El (God). Her halo being an infinity symbol and her sword being a butterfly, might be intentionally referring to the laws of Karma and Cycles.

(3) If a monster(s) is sent to your opponent’s GY (even during the Damage Step): You can make your opponent banish 1 of them.
Note: This card is named after the Stabat Mater, a 13th-century Christian hymn to the Virgin Mary that portrays her suffering as mother during the crucifixion of her son Jesus Christ.

Xyz Martha might be both meanings
there cards are mean.
These cards are damn sick and versatile! Bat Mater is another searcher for the deck that also functions as interaction that triggers Exosisters! And Karmael is also a Phantom of Yubel style omninegate that also makes it easier to adjust your Trap ratios! Genesys is gonna loathe this wave of support, but TCG will definitely welcome it.
An omninegation should be applicable to any type of card. Karmael is only reactive to monster effects and normal spells/traps,
Which makes it completely passive to continuous, quick, or field card effects

These cards are very strong.

I heavily dislike exosisters so don’t really look forward to playing against these cards
They still arent much of a threat
the “summon any xyz” cheese they can do is hard to pull off, and unless they change their strategy, they have a very strong xeno lock
so unless these cards allow them to ditch the locking cards, they have the same issues as before, just with a versatile negate now
Just play (3 ash, 3 imperm, 3 nib) min and you’ll check many decks going second if you are lucky

Being able to comfortably access your own resources and having at least one way to put pressure on your opponent is the basic thing that any archetype should have nowadays
These cards fulfill their purpose but they are not a Mathmech Circular or Seventh Tachyon
and exosister already does that. the new cards just help playing comfortably through handtraps and into boards.
The new XYZ is a pseudo Omni which gets you the spell/trap you need because before these support cards you were most times missing one of the three. Also while negating Nibiru which was the bigges weakness of the deck you also get cards back from your GY (handtraps or follow up).
The new Spell helps you get to all the names you need so you can really use all of their effects now which helps in card advantage through drawing or extending ur plays and not being reliable on Martha all the time.
In my eyes as direct support gets this stuff is crazy for exosister.

This support simply makes more tangible what the deck previously struggled to achieve, and in my book, that’s an “okay”

The spear in the spell card belongs to Kaspitell; Karmael disarmed Kaspitell after showing her who the superior sister is and is now pointing Kaspitell’s own spear at her.

Seventh tachyon is a way for every xyz deck to access a starter, which is a resource, and makes you go minus 1. This new continuous spell does thSame exclusively for exosister while also giving them access to free normal summon if they added the right monster, and a way to force the opponent to trigger your xyz summon for just playing the game.
There is no monster that works like circular, so you have a point with that. The xyz is still amazing for recovering and setting up interruption on summon, while also being a way to make your opponent trigger your monsters.

Genuinely pleased with both cards. They fix several issues with the Deck and address hand traps, extension, interactions on the opponent’s turn, and recursion.

How is the continuous spell not a siginificant leap in card quality when it gets you to monsters in company to the one from tachyon while also giving you an extra normal and a way to force your opponent to trigger your exosisters?

So exosister gets 2 from Burst Protocol, and will get another 2 cards from the next year set. Very disgusting tbh
I wonder if we can be certain of that. The last try archetypes (live twins, cyber dragons, eldlich) only got one wave of direct support. Anything is possible though and they did skip the second wave of in direct support.
I would love to see another wave soon anyway since these new cards leave things on a clif hanger
what the deck needs is 1 another name as strong as martha in terms of 1 card getting advantage (perhaps special summoning from graveyard upon summon and having a way to jump out of the hand without any setup or maybe the set up is to send an exosister monster from deck to graveyard ooooh my god im enjoying that — maybe the exosister that it would mention in card text would be the one dumped), this in name should mention specifically the other name which in its effect should count as any named exosister so it can make the pairings more flexible wow that would be so chill. next they need a way to recycle names from the graveyard without that being the main effect. perhaps putting that on a quick play spell that xyz summons so you can do on opponents turn mechanics that werent around right now, then its second effect says banish it, and shuffle back 2 banished cards or 2 exosister cards in your graveyard to draw 1.
Do this and the archetype will have less holes
