Yeah, its really not fair BLS got to have it’s own focused Ritual support and MoBC is just being consumed by DM. At least give a Black Magic Ritual retrain that Ritual summons and “Chaos” Spellcaster Ritual and treats it as MoBC on the field.
Magician of Black Chaos and Dark Magician are the same person.

the “destruction” here refers to “Spell of Destruction”, one of Magician of Black Chaos’ attack names (which became Chaos Scepter Blast in the dub), not to Gandora

I was wrong on Labrynth but I did expect Mikanko.
Smart choice of Konami to focus on HERO and DM at the same time as in Rush, so not as to isolate the two player bases and maximize legacy and new players.
Hopefully this means Harpie, the remaining RUSH SD holdout from modern support, gets something new.
I hope so, I’ve already lost the will to play because I don’t see any more support for them

Once again, konami decides to support DM and Blue-eyes instead of red-eyes.
You get Red-Eyes cards, but they also have nothing to do with the mechanics any of the previous Red-Eyes cards supported.
Right? the worst part is, whenever they DO give suppor to Red-Eyes, it’s either a completely different gameplay mechanic from previous support, or mostly underwhelming effects.
Alright, now that Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician will get new stuff… Now it is time for Red-Eyes !
Nah. It’s obviously time for Relinquished to get new stuff and tie into the Illusion type finally being canon in the OCG.
Something strange about the new DMoc is it’s more arkana dark magician colored than its usual coloring. I just hope this works with dark magician like the blue-eyes support works with the blue eyes support.

I still think about how the higher level Mikanko ritual does nothing different than the lower level one if it actually hits the field.
One deck from anime(but also Manga) , one deck from Manga, one game original deck. This is how Deck Build packs should be. Too bad Duelist Pack had to go fir this though.
Mikanko was unfinished so it’s nice to see. But I wish it had been Nephtys getting the support. Nephtys only had a single card released after the Deck Build Pack support.
Unfortunately, that dark magician follows the naming scheme of Dark Magician of Chaos instead of Magician of Black Chaos
Doesnt matter since its introduced as “Black Magic” support its more than likely DM support as DM’s naming scheme Kuro Mado Shi is “Black Magician” and the pack is meant to support pre-existing archetypes. Dark Magician of Chaos was DM support by the way. That much was mad plain through the spell card Dedication through Light and Darkness which literally E-telly the DMoC to the field from hand deck or GY by tributing a DM. I just hope this card is a ritual so I can summon it off of “Secrets of Dark Magic” because if the card has some kind of mass removal effect like its name suggests… yea its gonna be a good time.
It still annoys me than none of the MoBC ritual retrains treat themselves as MobC. After all the retrains the original MoBC and DMoC are still the only monsters that can use Chaos Scepter Blast because of this. Maybe they can release a retrain of Black Magic Ritual as Chaos Magic Ritual that Ritual Summons any “Chaos” Spellcaster Ritual monster and treats its name as BMoC while on the field. BMoC should be allowed to have its own support like BLS.

I hope that DMoD got an effect that special summon itself by destroying one monster this is treat as ritual summon so that it can help shining sarc DM or some destruction eff. In my opinion shining sarcs need more supp(BOSS MONSTERS/shining sarc GOD CARDS) and da OG DM kinda suck and needed at least 6 cards or SOMETHING(blue-eyes treatment).
I hope Level 8 DM Rituals get some good support. Heck, their Rituals in general. I’m looking forward to all of these themes!
