    Dragon/Effect, WIND, Lv 5, ATK 2400, DEF 1700
    You can only use the 1st and 2nd effect of this card’s name each once per turn.
    (1) If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 Dragon monster you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon this card.
    (2) You can discard 1 card, then target 1 monster on the field with 2400 or less ATK; destroy it, then, if you controlled it, you can Special Summon 1 Dragon monster from your hand or Deck that is 2 original Levels higher.

      Neat. The new Dragon Ruler support is the best pairing for the Armed Dragon Thunder cards, and I can see the application for this one, but the ADT line needs alot more than this lol

        I wish Armed Dragon Thunder line would be it’s own thing instead of paired with other decks as support or as an engine but that might just be me lol. I think they would be cool if they got some standard standalone support for the Armed Dragon archetype right now with more specific support and wording allowing them to become their own deck within their own archetype because right now it feels as they are mainly just generic Dragon support most of the time and can’t really function pure or on their own.

        You could also use it as a Dragon Ruler engine/loop

        Summon a monster with a trap to summon “Vulmina, Statue of the Sacred Dragon” from the pendulum zone and bounce an opponent’s card. Destroy Vulmina to summon “Threat Armed Dragon” from the grave, which resets Vulmina back to the pendulum zone and also triggers the draw effect of Supply Squad or something like that, then have Threat discard a card (likely to be revived by the trap at the start of the loop if you have the right trap) to destroy itself and summon a Dragon Ruler (thinking likely Blaster for a beatstick, or Redox as a physical wall) that then returns to your hand at the end of your opponent’s turn. Then, if you can, repeat from the beginning.

        The trick is finding something that can consistently trigger Vulmina’s special summon effect

        That’s great! I like seeing how they continue to tie into the OSIRIS pack and Duel Academy set from before which contained a baby LV 3 Drill Armed Dragon, it is GX 20th anniversary after all! Hope they continue doing sets and stuff like this, very cool tie in Konami!

      Kinda wish these new armed dragon cards did a little more with armed dragon rather then just being generic dragon support. Dont say 2400 atk or wind dragon. Just say armed dragon in the text

        Facts, I wish Armed Dragon would just be it’s own deck instead of an engine for other dragon decks but that might just me, you and a few others lol. I think they would be cool if they got some standard standalone support for the Armed Dragon archetype right now with more specific wording like you said because right now they are mainly just generic Dragon support most of the time.

        Username checks out. How is this “boring pack filler garbage”? You probably act like everything needs to be tier 00000 or it’s “boring pack filler garbage”. It’s support for a beloved nostalgic Anime Archetype in Armed Dragons from GX. My favorite archetype as a kid so I am happy they get new support whatever it may be. We barely get any anime stuff recently, not even the usual collector pack/animation chronicles. You probably haven’t even watched or will ever watch or understand the anime. You should educate yourself on the anime before you comment crap like this XD By your logic all that OSIRIS Pack stuff that gives only a few new anime cards and everything else should all not exist just give you the next meta fix you need lmao.

        What makes you think this set needs saving?
        You haven’t even seen the Artmage wave
        or the anime theme
        or the other anime theme
        or the legacy theme
        or the WPP theme support
        or the TTD theme support
        or the DBP theme support
        October is gonna be a BUSY month
        The VJump gonna be thicc + a stream

        So better save your whine for later

      This is aimed for Dragon Rulers I’m sure. Has really good synergy with them, also goes well with the Rokket support to get out Absorouter.

      Armed Dragons becoming really good Dragon support lately. 7/10

      I wish this card was treated as LV5 so you can technically cheese LV7 out with this.

      This card is really good since it will end up in the GY anyway in the regular combos and it can be searched.

        It’s second effect is a reference to it’s OG/Anime Effect where it levels up into LV7 , you can get out the Thunder LV7 version, shame though wish it was treated as the OG LV 5 so it worked with the Original LV 7 as it’s artwork is clearly based on the OG Armed Dragon LV 5

      Well… I’m not sure about this card. I mean you can target itself with the second effect to summon any Level 7 Dragons, so it’s neat but… I doubt you’d play more than one of this new Armed Dragon in Armed Dragon Rulers and even Red-Eyes decks (it can also be used in Metalmorph decks to summon Metal Claw too).

      It’s a neat card but nothing game or Dragon decks breaking.

        Based Armed Dragon, very neat but not everything needs to be expected to be game/dragon deck breaking, yall act like every new card needs to shake up the meta or be the new top tier but it doesnt lol. Also no mention of Rokkets considering your name is Revolver? lol

      Does anybody think this TCG sucks, that’s until new DM support arrives? I heard next year they’re going to honor Kazuki Takahashi by releasing non stop anime/manga support that has something to do with the Egyptian Gods, DM/DMG, Meteor Dragon/REBD, BLS/Gaia, Shining Sarcophagus, Diabound/Zorc, etc. That’s why they’re pushing out these fast so when 2026 gets here, they focus solely on anime/manga support instead of pack fillers, Tier 0 metagame fillers, etc.

        Yep they doing Duel Links DM world remake and complete anime support for DM which is exciting and great instead of pack fillers/tier0metagame fillers like you said. Also 2 dudegrey above wdym lmao it’s literally DM Nostalgia which made the series possible in the first place… XD

        Drill Armed Dragon which is LV3? You are thinking of Duel Academia Selection instead of GX Osiris Pack but yeah theyll probably import in some random set later down the line who knows when

      This thing is definitely good inside of the armed dragon deck, but its generally just good dragon support too

      No drawbacks really, and it can pull out both speciffic targets, and more general ones if the conditions are right, so it has a higher sealing than just its use alone

      And on top of all of that, it has no self banishment clause, so you cen reuse it if you make it to your next turn, so it even adds some grind game

      All in a just a really solid card, even if you dont go plus with it on its own

        As an addition to that… I either misread, or my brain just purged it
        It can also just be ok removal, its effect does trigger an unconditional destruction (as in no “and is send so your GY” clause), and it can destroy two of your monsters, AND, what i dint realize at all, its second effect doesnt even require you to destroy a dragon monster to trigger, so it can be use full in all kinds of decks that just have some random dragons sprinkled in (and you dont even need to have a correct target in the deck to destroy)

        And because of its speciffic destruction effects, it will probably be really good inside rokket/borrel

        So ill upgrade my “solid card” rating to “an actually rather good card that might see a lot of play”
