NessThe Japanese version of the Official Database has an updated text for Cyber-Stein:
(1) You can pay 5000 LP; Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck in Attack Position, but its effects are negated until the end of your opponent's turn and is banished if it leaves the field.
Source.
The functional changes are:
1) A hard once-per-turn restriction for the effect.
2) The Fusion Monster having its effects negated.
3) The Fusion Monster being banished when it leaves the field.
This update matches the reprint of the card in the Original Artwork Duel Set: Kaiba. However, the physical card itself features its design from Booster 3, with a very outdated text to begin with. Therefore, this updated texts only exists in the Database at this moment.
As an additional note, the card is still Forbidden in the OCG.
There is no current indication that it will be adjusting its status on the OCG Forbidden & Limited List (i.e. Limit Regulation)
There is no current indication of an upcoming OCG product that will feature this updated text.
