Tachibana Ikkaku VS Yuki Judai

Ikkaku obtained incredible Draw Power after getting his hands on a “Grim Reaper” card passed down through North School. To prove his Deck is the strongest, he challenges Judai, who has incredible natural Draw Power to a Duel!

TURN 01 >>> JUDAI
Ikkaku LP: 4000 / Judai LP: 4000
● Draw 1 card from the Deck (“Hero Medal”)
● Normal Summon “Elemental HERO Clayman” from the hand in Defense Position.
● Set “Hero Medal” from the hand.

TURN 02 >>> IKKAKU
Ikkaku LP: 4000 / Judai LP: 4000
● Draw 1 card from the Deck (“Invincible Demise Lord”)
● Activate “Temptation of te Godess” from the hand. Look at Judai’s hand and choose “Elemental HERO Sparkman” from among them and Special Summon it to Judai’s Field.
● Activate “Mischief of the Goddess”. Look at Judai’s hand and choose “Burst Impact” from among them and Set it to Judai’s Spell & Trap Zone.
● Activate “Slash Draw”. Send the top 4 cards of Ikkaku’s Deck to the GY (“Reload”, “Magical Stone Excavation”, “Exchange of the Spirit”, “Big Eye”). Draw “Slash Draw” and send it to the GY and destroy all cards on the field. (Due to the effect of “Hero Medal”, “Hero Medal” is shuffled into the Deck instead of being sent to the GY.) Then, inflict 1000 damage to Judai times the number of cards destroyed by this effect and sent to the GY.
Judai LP: 4000

● Activate the effect of the “Hero Medal” destroyed by “Slash Draw”. Draw 1 card from the Deck (“Dandylion”).

● Activate “Footsteps of the Goddess” from the hand. Look at Judai’s hand and Special Summon “Elemental HERO Avian” to Judai’s Field from among them. Then, Special Summon “Invincible Demise Lord” from your hand to your field.

Ikkaku: “The right number of cards are on the field. Between these cards, I cannot attack my opponent. However, there’s a way. A card that can pierce straight through to the opponent and crush them in a single strike. And the further from my foe I am, the stronger it becomes.”
Judai swallows.
Ikkaku: “That’s this card, “Slash Draw”!!”
After sending the requisite cards to the Graveyard, “Slash Draw”‘s effect slices apart the field. But at that time, a medal appears in front of Ikkaku. Then that Medal shatters.
Ikkaku: “Ngh, did I misstep?!”
Ikkaku notices the revealed “Hero Medal”. Judai manages to have just enough LP to ang on.
Ikkaku: “Why do you still have 1000 LP!?”
Judai explains how “Hero Medal” works. The Grim Reaper’s power failed? Ikkaku is flustered and upset.
Judai: “Interesting. I can feel my goosebumps tingling.”

TURN 03 >>> JUDAI
Ikkaku LP: 4000 / Judai LP: 1000

● Draw 1 card from the Deck (“Polymerization”)
● Activate “Polymerization” to Fusion Summon “Elemental HERO Flame Wingman” by sending “Elemental HERO Burstinatrix” from the hand and “Elemental HERO Avian” from the field as material.
● Attack “Invincible Demise Lord” with “Elemental HERO Flame Wingman”. “Invincible Demise Lord” is destroyed by battle and Ikkaku takes 800 damage.
Ikkaku LP: 4000 => 3200
● When “Invincible Demise Lord” is destroyed, “Elemental HERO Flame Wingman” on the field activates its effect, inflicting 1300 damage to Ikkaku.
Ikkaku LP: 3200 => 1900

● Activate the effect of “Invincible Demise Lord” in the GY. It Special Summons itself from the GY with an ATK score of 3000.

TURN 04 >>> IKKAKU
Ikkaku LP: 1900 / Judai LP: 1000

● Draw 1 card from the Deck (“Book of Taiyou”).
● “Invincible Demise Lord” attacks “Elemental HERO Flame Wingman”. “Elemental HERO Flame Wingman” is destroyed by battle, Judai takes 900 damage.

Judai LP: 1000 => 100

TURN 05 >>> JUDAI
Ikkaku LP: 1900 / Judai LP: 100

● Draw 1 card from the Deck (“Emergency Evasion”)
● Normal Summon “Dandylion” from the hand in Defense Position.
● Set “Emergency Evasion” from the hand.

HIKOKUBO MEMO

I would like Judai to dodge or feint “Invincible Demise Lord” but not stop its attacks, so this is the part where Judai should express himself with defense monsters and his set cards.

TURN 06 >>> IKKAKU
Ikkaku LP: 1900 / Judai LP: 100

● Draw 1 card from the Deck (“Spell Reproduction”)
● Activate “Spell Reproduction” by sending 2 Spell Cards (“Book of Taiyou” “Monster Reincarnation”). Choose “Slash Draw” in the GY and add it to the hand.
● Activate “Slash Draw” from the hand. Send the top 3 cards of your Deck (“Book of Moon” “Des Feral Imp” “Mystic Tomato”) to the GY. Then draw 1 card (“Slash Draw”) and reveal it. Send the drawn “Slash Draw” to the GY and destroy all cards on the field.

● When “Slash Draw” is activated, activate “Emergency Evasion” (Set) on the field. Banish all cards on your field. When the Spell Cards’ effects resolve, draw 1 card from your Deck (“Elemental HERO Neos”). Return the banished “Dandylion” that was banished by this card to its original position on the field as it has the same card type as the drawn card.

● “Invincible Demise Lord” attacks “Dandylion”. “Dandylion” is destroyed by battle.

● When “Dandylion” is destroyed by battle, activate the effect of “Dandylion”. Special Summon 2 “Fluff Token” to your field in Defense Position.

TURN 07 >>> IKKAKU
Ikkaku LP: 1900 / Judai LP: 100

● Draw 1 card from the Deck (“Neos Force”).
● Tribute 2 “Fluff Tokens” to Normal Summon “Elemental HERO Neos” from the hand.
● Activate “Neos Force” from the hand. Equip to “Elemental HERO Neos”, causing it to gain 800 ATK.
“Elemental HERO Neos” ATK: 2500 => 3300

● Attack “Invincible Demise Lord” with “Elemental HERO Neos”. Destroy “Invincible Demise Lord” by battle, inflicting 300 damage to Ikkaku
Ikkaku LP: 1900 => 1600
● When “Invincible Demise Lord” is destroyed, activate the effect of “Neos Force” on the field. Inflict 3000 damage with Ikkaku.
