The equips needing to be legal means that you also need enough S/T slots for them. But yes, up to five.
Up to 5 due to how the game works, obviously. The issue is that it’s quite difficult to summon outside of it’s deck and does not really have any build-in protection. It’s a cool, flashy card but I’m not sure if really needed.
Isn’t summoning this outside of its deck easy? 2 level 6, 1 tuner can make ultimaya, then make power tool level 9 dragon, equip 3 things. Use it as materiaٰlُ for this. Though I don’t see what I need to equip tbh.
I mean, it’s a good card, but by the time it reaches the field, you’ve practically won the duel, so it only exists to flex the $100 you spent on cardboard lol
why would you spend 100 bucks on this?
It’s the cost for the whole deck, primarily, it’s archetype.
I tried experimenting with few of the Doom-Z cards in a dragon deck for fun, but obviously they don’t work well outside of their own dedicated deck. Is the Doom-Z even decent? Considering I haven’t heard much chatter about it, I assume it isn’t that great.
Doom-Z Ryzeal has the potential to be very powerful. As a pure deck, however, it needs more to be powerful imo
It is pretty strong. Ryzeal_Doom-Z is starting to be very popular.

I built this deck with mikanko as a pure going second fun deck. God is it terrible when you dont draw a starter for either engine but if you do and get board breakers its so much fun
Including Mikanko, I’ll point out for others’ sake, has the fun side effect of making the DoomZ equip not blow up your monster when it’s done attacking directly due to it if you’ve slapped any of the dances onto it (like Mayowashidori)!
Sure, on the face of things that’s not too important given that Drastrius has a way to dodge its own death and how if 7500 ATK directly from Jupiter isn’t winning a duel you have bigger problems, but it DOES add a neat play in letting Drastia survive swinging directly via D.O.O.M.D.U.R.G. before making Drastrius and doing it again, plus who can say ‘no’ to a little extra safety in the face of enemy action?
