“They” have no will, “They” have no purpose, they merely “copy” all the forms of Despair poured into them.

Therefore, their appearance is ever shifting and depends on the depths of those buried emotions they absorb and are said to change their appearance in particularly ominous ways.

And once, you “understand” what they look like… …

“They” will never truly leave you. No matter how much you look away, the shadow that you “understand” is already “inside” you.
