The duality of mankind
how is this bad? Its like weaker but more splashable Maximus. All you need is a random extra deck monster you’re not going to need, like any of the “activate such and such effect when sent to the graveyard” or “banish from the graveyard to active such and such effect” extra deck monsters for his second effect, and some easy to use/splash Dogmatika monsters like Theo the Iron Punch and there ya go. He’s an easy to summon lv8 monster.
Heck, throw him into a DOOM-Z deck to help get “Doom-Z End – Drastrius” on the field, and (if I got the effect right) when he’s detatched for Drastrius’s effect, you can add a dogmatika to your hand to prep for Break Diactorus

I think we can do a little better than “is Level 8 that can be Special Summoned easily”. If I had $1 for every card in Yugoh like that, I’d have at least $100. Even with the upside of being able to send cards like Herald of Arc Light to search Ritual cards, or Garura to just draw 1 to replace itself. Its third effect is never coming up outside of Dogmatika Decks. That’s nowhere near good enough to see modern play. I’d take literally any handtrap or board breaker over that, especially in a Dogmatika Deck which typically can’t even Summon from the Extra Deck on Turn 1.
Like I said, I’d pair it with Theo. And I have a standard when it comes to my decks, most hand traps are 4 or below and I have a quota for 5 and highers. So yes, you could just go with other cards. I’m just saying if you wanted to use him, that is how I could see it being done, even if just as an engine in another deck to let you pull some effects out of your extra deck monsters.
Will it see competitive? probably not. I haven’t really heard of any Dogmatika deck make it into competitive play. For those who play for fun? Yes, I can see him being used

@ Monk, I mean, setting aside for a moment the matter of ‘oh noooo [card for an archetype] isn’t as good outside of [archetype] whatever will we doooo,’ I’d imagine this could work alongside, I dunno, Fleurdelis? He’s a free mat for whatever without her, but you can recycle a dead Fleurdelis with him when you spend him, or if you have both in-hand you can field him first to make her negate live, so like . . . yeah we can accentuate the negative ’til we’re blue in the face, but there’s at least some positives we can take away from him; he could be better, heavens know I’d prefer if his pitch could go off if Special Summoned from places other than the hand, but I can’t say he’s awful as-is.

N doesn’t know for sure. However, that is an educated guess based on they typical patterns of how Konami reveals the cards from their upcoming OCG products during this time of the month.
This card could be good in some Ritual decks. A good way to send herald of arc light to the gy.
Why would any deck play this over Diviner.
Why not both ?
Because your ritual deck is not going to be summoning from ED most times, and if they are they have better things to do than summon this card

Does absolutely nothing on Turn 1. Mediocre when going Second. Might see play at 1 copy in dedicated going second Ritual Dogmatika, but it’s a hard sell over literally any Board Breaker.
Going first it can search any ritual monster/spell or get a lv8 body on the field while replacing itself by drawing 1 card. Not generic but neither “absolutely nothing”.
Also is a handtrap removal when going second destroying or bouncing on extra deck summon, or a negate that can’t chain to an activated effect, kinda slow but a extender than can double as a handtrap is cool for decks that can use him.

Right, but you have to be playing a Deck that Special Summons from the Extra Deck. Replacing itself with a Draw 1 is not worth the slot. It’s not a handtrap when going second. No idea where you got that idea. It’s first effect isn’t a Quick Effect, or even a Trigger effect. You’re not Summoning this on the opponent’s turn.

It could be a fun tech in cyber dark decks, too. N’tss can pop cards, and it can dump a cyberdark dragon or cyber end dragon for grafting purposes.
The condition for the special summon feels a bit out of touch with the current pace of the game

Its pretty good honestly. Like for example you have your own edtra deck you can use by just having even link 1 like artemis you get to dump titaniklad to access the new hand trap fleur. Also dogmatika struggles with getting cards back from gy so even you just trobute it off turgy its still convinient to reset monsters like new fleur or og fleur as it lets you run smaller ratios for them

Don’t be surprised if this sees play in OCG Heraldic Beast decks just because it can be another copies of Ext Ryzeal for them.
I can see this having some utiliti with Drytron. The send to graveyard, the discard for set-up, the 2000 atck.
You’ve clearly never read a Drytron card before if you think this.
It’s kind of bleh for pure Dogmatica, but it’s appreciated addition to hybrids. Extender with kind of relevant stats and ability to trigger our “when send to GY” extra decks monsters that obviously you’ll play with it.
Actually this guy is really good
In a generic deck this guy is a free level 8 body, which dumps a card from your extra deck to trigger extra effects, or gets materials for certain combos there
In dogmatika this guy is especially good, since this is the first one of them (I think) who doesnt lock you out of extradeck play, so you can actually do the albaz combo, where you dump one of the albaz fusions, and can actually use the albaz summoned from that to make a card by stealing an opponents monster
oh yea, also the bonus card recovery from the graveyard can definitely be usefull for stupid combos

In Albaz you can get back quem with its last effect since it counts as a dog and despia card
rather mid for a dogmatika card; Chaplain’s summon effect not being a quick effect like Fleur’s is a big L.
This feels like a card from 5 years ago.
We got so many good lvl 8 extenders that it’s kinda pointless to play for body.
Making opponent mills their extra deck is also pretty huge demerit when everything procs in gy nowadays. Also its special summon is an activated effect which is not very good.
It doesn’t lock you out of extra deck at least and recycle is ok.
