Yes I will never get tired of that old meme.
DBVS-JP031 Angelo Valmonica
DARK Fairy/Pendulum/Effect
Level 4 PS3 1200/2100
Pendulum Effect
(1) While you have a Fiend Monster Card in your other Pendulum Zone, each time you gain LP, place 1 Resonance Counter on this card.
(2) Once per turn, when an opponent’s monster declares an attack, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Link Summon 1 “Valmonica” monster.
Monster Effect
You can only use the 1st and 2nd monster effect of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) If this card is in your hand: You can discard 1 other card; place this card and 1 “Demone Valmonica” from your Deck in your Pendulum Zone.
(2) During the Main Phase, if this card was Normal or Special Summoned this turn: You can banish 1 “Valmonica” Normal Spell/Trap from your GY; this effect becomes that card’s LP gain effect when that card is activated.
Translation Note The name is written as “Angelic Voice”, also “Angelo” is Italian for “Angel”.
DBVS-JP032 Demone Valmonica
LIGHT Fiend/Pendulum/Effect
Level 4 PS5 1200/2100
Pendulum Effect
(1) While you have a Fairy Monster Card in your other Pendulum Zone, each time you take effect damage, place 1 Resonance Counter on this card.
(2) Monsters your opponent controls lose 100 ATK for each Resonance Counter on cards you control.
Monster Effect
You can only use the 1st and 2nd monster effect of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) If this card is in your hand: You can discard 1 other card; place this card and 1 “Angelo Valmonica” from your Deck in your Pendulum Zone.
(2) During the Main Phase, if this card was Normal or Special Summoned this turn: You can banish 1 “Valmonica” Normal Spell/Trap from your GY; this effect becomes that card’s damage-inflicting effect when that card is activated.
Translation Note: The name is written as “Demonic Voice”, also “Demone” is Italian for “Demon”.
DBVS-JP033 Valmonica no Ishin – Guiralume (Odd Deity of Valmonica – Guiralume)
DARK Fairy/Link/Effect
2500 LINK-1 (BL)
1 Effect Monster
Cannot be Link Summoned unless you have a Fairy Monster Card with 3 or more Resonance Counters in your Pendulum Zone. You can only Special Summon “Odd Deity of Valmonica – Giurarme(s)” once per turn.
(1) If this card is Link Summoned: You can target monsters your opponent controls up to the number of Resonance Counters on cards in your Pendulum Zone; destroy them.
(2) You can remove 3 Resonance Counters from cards in your Pendulum Zone; this card can make a second and third attack during each Battle Phase this turn.
Translation Note: The “Odd Deity” is a word made by the Kanji “odd/different” + “god/deity”.
Additional Translation Note: Its name is likely a combination of probably Giuramento (Italian for Oath) and Lume (Italian for Light or Lamp). Also, Ishin is a homonym to Ishin, which means Treason or Conspiracy. There’s also a light chance it’s a play on “giullarescamente” (Joy/Playfulness)
DBVS-JP034 Valmonica no Shin’i – Zebufera (Divine Oddity of Valmonica – Zebufera
LIGHT Fiend/Link/Effect
2500 LINK-1 (BR)
1 Effect Monster
Cannot be Link Summoned unless you have a Fiend Monster Card with 3 or more Resonance Counters in your Pendulum Zone. You can only Special Summon “Divine Oddity of Valmonica – Zebufera(s)” once per turn.
(1) If this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can remove 3 Resonance Counters from cards in your Pendulum Zone instead.
(2) Once per opponent’s turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 of your “Valmonica” Normal Spells/Traps that is banished or in your GY; this effect becomes that card’s effect when that card is activated.
Translation Note: This name seems to be a portmanteau of Belzebù (Beelzebub) + Bufera (Blizzard), the Italian words for each. Also the “Divine Oddity” is a word made by the kanji “god/deity” + “odd/different” (in the opposite order to Giuralume’s name)
Note: It’s also possibly a play on zeffiroso (Italian for Zephyr) and Shin’i, a “some mysterious force that is non-human” or “divine/supernatural authority or presence”.
DBVS-JP035 Tenma no Seisenki – “Valmonica” (Angelic-Demonic Selector – “Valmonica”)
Field Spell Card
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn. You can only use the 2nd effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) When this card resolves, you can add 1 “Valmonica” monster from your Deck to your hand.
(2) If the 3rd Resonance Counter is placed on a card in your Pendulum Zone: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; take control of it (until the End Phase), but it cannot declare an attack.
TL note: “Tenma” is half and half of the Kanji for “Angel” and “Devil”. “Seisenki” is a pun on a different seisenki (精選器), which is written as “spirit” + “selection” + “device”. The original word is some device that is used to select and separate grain, such as a winnowing machine or a sieve or sifter. The first Kanji for “spirit” could refer to these Pendulum Monsters. The Spell Card’s name itself replaces the first Kanji for “Voice”, which would make this device a separator/sieve between angelic and demonic voices.
DBVS-JP037 Valmonica Versare
Normal Spell Card
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.
(1) Apply 1 of these effects (your opponent’s choice, if you do not have a “Valmonica” card in your Pendulum Zone).

● Take 500 damage, then you can send 1 “Valmonica” card from your Deck to your GY, except “Valmonica Versare”.
Translation Note: “Versare” means “to pour” in Italian.
DBVS-JP038 Valmonica Intonare
Normal Spell Card
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.
(1) Apply 1 of these effects (your opponent’s choice, if you do not have a “Valmonica” card in your Pendulum Zone).
● Gain 500 LP, then your opponent chooses 1 monster in your GY that can be Special Summoned (if any) for you to Special Summon it.
● Take 500 damage, then you can add 1 Level 4 monster from your GY to your hand.
Translation Note: “Intonare” is Italian for “To Sing”.
DBVS-JP039 Ritsudou no Valmonica (Valmonica of the Guiding Rhythm)
Normal Trap
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.

● Take 500 damage, then you can return 1 monster on the field to the hand.
Translation Note: This name is a pun on “Ritsudou” (rhythm), replacing the second Kanji with “Guiding”.
DBVS-JP040 Senritsu no Valmonica (Valmonica of the Selecting Melody)
Normal Trap
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.
(1) If you control a “Valmonica” Monster Card: Apply 1 of these effects, or, if you control a “Valmonica” Link Monster, you can apply both, in sequence.
● Gain 500 LP, also your opponent cannot target “Valmonica” Monster Cards you control with card effects for the rest of this turn.
● Take 500 damage, then you can negate the effects of 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls, until the end of this turn.
Translation Note: This name is a pun on “Senritsu” (melody), replacing the second Kanji with “Selection” (the same one used in the Field Spell Card).

Someone’s really guessing right about Valmonica being pend
Wasn’t a hard guess lol the preview images from way back were literally in pendulum dimensions
This explains the Clown and Monk reprints, and to a lesser extent Bagooska due to that specific Level 4 support and PS4. TCBOO isn’t yet accounted for by either archetype in here, so maybe Centurion all share the same Type.
Monk wasn’t reprinted as support for this archetype, its code is in the mid to late 20’s and this archetype goes from 31 to 45.
The coolest think is that you can use your normal s/t effects thrice per turn.
pendulum counter theme?? endymion in shambles
Solid foundation so far, but setting up the counters seems like a heavy investment. Spooky Dogwood could unironically work as a tech here.
Just a little note here. In Italian it’s written “giuramento” not “guiramento”
Thanks for pointing out the typo, got lost in the pasta sauce.
The 20 minutes of ygorg with a hideous dark background was quite the fever dream.
Yeah, I was wondering what the heck was going on,
