Based on the recent support we should also get new support based on Union, Galaxy, Trickstar, and Melodious in this pack.
Maybe Premium Pack 2025 and Terminal World or Selection pack.
Union maybe. And I mean MAYBE.
There’s no room for Trickstar in AC2024.
Tachyon and Melodious are also maybe, because they’d take up 2 of the 8 slots seemingly allotted to Performages. And Performages need all the slots they can be spared, considering their backlog and the darn-near confirmed reality that 2 of those slots are already promised.
Hope we get the beetron cards from gx someday especially given the a to z support we just got I tried that deck out on nexus it works pretty good
Most of the open slots are Arc V cards. So there probably going to be mostly Entermage cards since based on the pack cover we’re getting the Rank 5 Magician.
Really hope Trapeze High Magician is the only Performage in this set. Let the other cards be the Hunting Hounds and 2 Melodious cards. They can add more Performage with Shadow Maker next year.
Personally I would also perfer Raidraptor support. It’s one of my favorite decks.
Hopefully we’ll get Rank-Up Rising. That card would help this deck alot. And the rest of the Barian cards one day.
If nothing else I’ll give Konami credit for the reprints they chose for this set.
Unlike the TCG they know how to time anticipated reprints with upcoming products. I just wish it didn’t come at the cost of only getting 29 new cards.
Hoping for more anime cards in Premium Pack and Selection pack.
Hopefully no anime cards in Premium Pack. It’s the only set we consistently get manga cards in besides subscription promos and it’s already being crowded by cards based on the OCG Stories manga. It doesn’t need anime cards competing for the 17 slots we get as well.
Animation Chronicles 2023 (excluding reprint) has no manga cards.
Despite being focused on anime cards, Animation Chronicles 2021 & 2022 has manga cards such Vision HERO and Cyber Dragon support from Manga
BTW, Premium Pack has anime cards such Altergeist Memorygrant, Fossil cards, Barian cards and Crystal Beast card.
Perhaps you skipped reading the word “consistently”. And yeah, anime cards and even game original cards have been in Premium Pack. And it sucked that we got even less manga cards when that has happened. Anime cards have come in all kinds of other sets. I’m pretty sure the last time we had non-DM manga cards outside of volume bundles, sub promos PP and CP/AC was when Jack got some of his HRDA synchros in a Booster Special 9 years ago.
You mean Premium Pack is focused on Manga cards. Okay.
Hopefully, the next Animation Chronicles will have 80 cards which contains half-new cards and half-reprint cards.

Okay, I don’t know too much about sharks, but can someone explain what this does for them? Cause it seems pretty underwhelming.

Aw, no Sharkify equip Spell turning the equipped monster into a Fish “Shark” monster. Maybe next time.
Helps to dodge targeting negates or pops, but that’s it. Not a good card.
A couple of the new cards have in-GY targeting effects that are mostly useless, like Surface Aquajet and the Icarus Attack. So you can use those on your monster and trigger Cuttin Shark yourself.
No battle protection ? Damn Komoney doesn’t respect the OG Anime effects. Same things happen to Clear World.
I’m all for more sharks that don’t have inorganic objects attached to them or attack animations that…shoot laser beams. Poor Destroyersaurus. Great White was a real g.
If I had a nickel for every time the name of a localized zexal card ended up being the ACTUAL name of a later released card I’d have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.
Why did they bother censoring/changing the name of Cutter Shark to “Buzzsaw Shark” in the first place if they were just gonna give the name to this card instead?
