Crossover Breakers is the latest 60-card booster set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, introducing 3 brand-new Deck themes. And thanks to in-set foil upgrades, you can get foil versions of all the set’s new cards, right away!
Crossover Breakers contains 10 Ultra Rares, 10 Super Rares, and 40 standard Rares. But in a new twist, half the standard Rares can also be pulled as Super Rares in the same set. In addition, 15 cards can be found as Collector’s Rares, and several as Quarter Century Secret Rares!
Ryzeal
Give your Xyz Deck a jolt of energy with the super-storm power of Ryzeals! This Thunder/Pyro theme uses overcharged Level & Rank 4 Xyz Monsters to build an electrical loop – monsters overlay into Xyz Monsters, then detach materials to add cards to your hand or destroy your opponent’s cards, then can recharge by attaching monsters from your Graveyard. Many Ryzeal effects are open-ended and can work with almost any Rank 4 Xyz Monster, so you can Summon and recharge your favorite Rank 4’s from throughout history, alongside the brightest cards from today!
Maliss
Delve into a madcap Cyber World by heading down the digital rabbit hole to the wonderful underland! Things get pretty weird, here, so you’ll need to hire some guides to hack your way through! You’ll find several Maliss <P> and <Q> monsters (Pawns & Queens!), plus the Maliss <C> (code) Trap Cards at your service. And the Traps can be used the same turn they’re Set! Just make sure you keep your new boss Link Monster’s Link Arrows pointing to another monster so you can get special benefits when using its effect. Enemy monsters causing you trouble? Off with their heads!
Ryu-Ge
Prophecy says that this world was created by an ancient Dragon, who now seeks a successor! This fight for the future has led Dinosaur, Sea Serpent, and Wyrm monsters to compete in a no-mercy battle to the finish. The victor will ascend into a new Dragon that will create and rule the next world. But you can put all three of them together by building a Ryu-Ge Deck! Connect their realms and seek out who becomes the victorious Dragon of your Deck! You can also add these cards to your existing Dinosaur, Sea Serpent, or Wyrm Decks to boost their champion caliber!
Crossover Breakers contains 60 cards:
10 Ultra Rares
10 Super Rares
40 Rares (half also available as Super Rare upgrades)
15 cards also available as Collector’s Rares
Plus additional cards also available as Quarter Century Secret Rares

C’est décembre. On utilise le calendrier américain.
Nooooo, why Maliss? MALICE would be so much better, they destroyed the pun :((((
Presumably for one of two reasons.
First, the TCG doesn’t use upside down letters for archetypes (ie Amazement and Attraction), so they would have to stick with Malice, but that would contradict with every TCG card with Malice in its name that aren’t part of the archetype.
And second, and probably more likely, to avoid legal issues with Disney.
Disney doesn’t own the name Alice.
It’s a situation like with the name changes of the Fairy Tail and Leon cards, or how we don’t have new Kozmo cards anymore. Anything that can potentially infuriate the mouse, Konami will avoid doing.
why, alice in wonderland is public domain. legally disney has no power in this case
Don’t like the localized name? Then don’t play the deck. Same to my Vaalmonica, no longer enjoying play the deck 😞
these are certified levels of 4Kids of translating the archetype’s names to english, how do they screw the names of the archetypes that poorily???
Mariss is due to legal and name complications.
Ryu-Ge is literally what the archetype is called in Japanese.
Ryzeal is close to the Japanese name.
Maliss? Wtf?
Man, these three Archetypes got dirty in translation:
– I know it was hard to find something similar to “Apodrakosis”, but “Ryu-Ge” seems like one of the worst alternatives as a replacement (in fact, “Ryu-Ge” sounds like saying Kyogre which I guess fits the indirect reference)
– “Raizeol” to “Ryzeal” doesn’t seem like the most egregious change since at least the original name was respected a bit. Not many complaints here.
– The one that got really dirty is “M∀LICE”, now called “Maliss”. Not only did it lose the unique characteristic that the Deck’s name had (what gives it some charisma or uniqueness), but, for a Deck focused on a fantasy tale and viruses, “Maliss” doesn’t seem like the most original name.
it doesnt matter, no one will play those decks
still playing the same decks as of 1-2 years ago, still tier 0
Ryuge is the archetype original name in Japanese, it’s been basically left untranslated. Apodrakosis was an entirely fan created translation that had little direct connection to original Japanese name
The tcg is an act of vandalism.
Going with the Japanese name of Ryuge, instead of the Chinese reading Longhua or a localised name is pretty surprising.
Going from Malice in Wonderland to Malissa Milano. Cool stuff Konami Localisation Team!
I think the English naming of Maliss is supposed to combine Malice, and Alius in a way similar to how people often take words and purposefully misspell them or give them alternate spellings for use in Usernames. (“Alice” to “Aliss”)
The translation to Maliss is a bit disappointing, but it won’t stop me from building a deck with the theme.
People have to remember that there are already cards in the game named Malice, so instead of doing a “except Frog the Jam” situation, they just changed some letters to make the archetype more distinct
Could have done it as M-Alice, or MALICE in all caps. This is just a blunder from the localisation team.
They already fixed that problem in the Japanese print by calling them M∀LICE, using the universal quantifier (∀) in place of an A. There was literally no reason to change it.
They literally could have just kept the turn A it was already distinct lol
Attraction also has the universal qualifier in the OCG that was changed in the TCG.
They can do the same thong they did with heroes and make the archetype name all caps. So no..
All caps and an upside down A definitely does not have any cards. Even just all caps would be fine, as capitlization matters. Which is why HERO can’t search any card with “hero” in its name text-string. Like the Heroic cards.
Players: We want alt rarities like the OCG, it keeps prices down somewhat!
Konami: ok sure, here, now you can buy your silly little rare cards but shinier.
Players: not what we meant and you know it.
Yeah, this just seems like it’ll make it harder to pull the super rares you actually want. Talk about bloat
And no improvements to the pull ratios either — 4 URs per box on average is still horrible
Konami should make the sets all-foil again like the older versions of the deck build packs
Especially when Supers are way uglier than Rares in the TCG.
Lol, TCG really is a$$ at naming. Reminds me off “Rage Hellfire Exodo Flames” to “Exxod Fires of Rage”. True disappointment.
I wonder when are they going to announce the new blue eyes structure deck and the duelists of brilliance, i want my dragons and unions konami come on 🤣
So what. This means if I buy a pack can draw 6 rares and 1 super which can be Just the same card I already drew as rare? They could’ve make ultras as super but with 30 super rares it will be even more difficult to draw the exact cards needed. If they rarity bumb malice then just f*****
Bunch of adults crying over barely changed names. Sad.
Dude, the archetype is based on Alice in Wonderland, not Eliss in Wonderland
Which is copyrighted
well there was a of books called alice by aliss actully
@Sister Phister
Alice in Wonderland is not copyrighted. It’s in the public domain.
Ah good, now the pool of cards we can pull from is diluted even more. Deck-build pack my @ss.
Also holy… I didn’t 3 out of 3 misses with those translated names JFC.
Archetype names are fine, some of you are just whiny. Maliss is still pronounced the same way as Malice if you say it out loud.
of all the stupid things tcg players get mad about, this really should not be one of them
You can be mad about more that one thing.
Ah yes my favorite references. Aliss In Wonderland
Ryu-Ge? As in, Ryu-Ga-Gotoku? John Yakuza?
You don’t hate TCG enough
You think you do but you don’t
Man, seeing Yugioh fans squirm and whine over TCG name translations are always hilarious XD
I mean I get its a children’s card game, so its a given the players are acting like one, but damn, its just pure comedy gold. LMFAO
Also, the names aren’t even that bad
