This is simultaneously Gakuto and Yuran support; the cards are more compatible with Yuran’s deck, but only Gakuto used Shield & Sword on screen and they are numbered in between his other support cards.
An odd inclusion nonetheless since Gakuto very rarely used Shield & Sword after his debut duel.
In spite of the lack of usage, Gavin using it 3 times throughout his entire SEVENS’ tenure and Yuran using it less than Caterpillio despite feeling thematically like he had, there’s something still very iconic about this card.
All that to say, I’m glad it got a nice 2-card support package here, and one that nods to Yuran’s implicit usage of the card.
