The OG Link Summoning archetype meets its guardian angels…

Strategic Summary:
Welcome to today’s CDP, a strategy designed to improve upon the World Chalice gameplan with a few new tricks! The World Chalice archetype was one of the first released into the game with a design centered around spamming Link Summons. When each of its in-theme Link Monsters offers additional Special Summons of a World Chalice monster from the hand when sent to the GY, it actually is one of the best archetypes for linking up to the highest linked monsters. Aiding this quest is Auram the World Chalice Blademaster, who carries an effect to tribute a World Chalice it points to to Special Summon any other monster in your GY, giving you easy access to quick link climbing. On the other hand, Imduk the World Chalice Dragon grants you an additional World Chalice Normal Summon during the turn, letting you get more monsters that way. Altogether, this theme’s best plays is when it takes advantage of World Legacy – “World Chalice”, a Level 5 monster that Special Summons 2 World Chalice monsters from your deck, when it (after being Normal Summoned/Set) is sent to the GY. If you happen to Special Summon Lee the World Chalice Fairy or World Chalice Guardragon, that’s just furthering your Link potential further down your combo lines.
Now this archetype has always been paired with The Agent of Creation – Venus for one main reason – Mystical Shine Ball. These little Level 2 Normal Monsters are key for endless Link Summons, especially when combined with Pot of Avarice. But this combination got even better with the recent Agent support, as now The Agent of Life – Neptune and The Agent of Destruction – Venus both offer additional ways to extend your plays, sometimes even if your original Venus is disrupted. Combine that with Celestial Knightlord Parshath off of your 3 Shine Balls, and you already have a board that can summon Firewall Dragon before even factoring in all the World Chalice potential. With the addition of Firewall Dragon Singularity (YGOrg Translation), this strategy just got another boss monster to add to its infinite potential. If you’re into endless Link Summons and want to push the full potential of the Agents, be sure to check out this strategy in action!
