Strategic Summary:
The Windwitch archetype is getting a huge boost with the arrival of 5 new support cards in Blazing Vortex, and this build is designed to spotlight the sheer consistency and power that they bring to the table. Windwitch – Ice Bell remains the opening play for this archetype, as it can summon itself from the hand and another Windwitch from the deck while you control no monsters. Windwitch – Glass Bell remains a secondary consistency card, searching a Windwitch whenever it is summoned. But with the arrival of two new monsters that can grow this field and the spell card Chime of the Windwitch (YGOrg Translation), this deck is ready to explode with Synchro Summons. The Windwitch decks of old may have just ended on a Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, but now, you have the power to harness the new Synchro, Windwitch – Diamond Bell (YGOrg Translation), offering even more burn damage and destruction whenever your opponent takes damage! Throw in Magicalized Fusion and Necro Fusion for access to Fusion powerhouses as well such as Quintet Magician or Supreme Arcanite Magician, and you are all set to blow past your opponents!
Note: As many of these cards were recently revealed, most of the names used below are YGOrg translations of the OCG text. As these cards are also yet to be released even in the OCG or backed by official rulings, card interactions as they currently stand cannot be fully guaranteed.
