One-Card Synchros don’t have to just be degenerate…

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to a new profile, this time showcasing two fun builds with the Swordsoul archetype. For a more comprehensive, and arguably stronger version of the archetype, be sure to check out my Swordsoul True King build here. These two builds are designed to use the Swordsoul as a core to support two vastly different strategies – hopefully you enjoy.
The first build combines Majestic Stardust support, alongside a Swordsoul core to make that initial Stardust Dragon Synchro Summon. With the reveal of the new Stardust Wurm (YGOrg Translation), the Majestic strategy still aims to control the duel with a Shooting Majestic Star Dragon; however, it now gains access to the full gambit of Stardust Synchros. Shooting Star Dragon? Check. Stardust Warrior? Definitely. Besides, you can also rely on the tried and true Majestic Star Dragon. Deployed alongside these synchros are a fleet of Traps, designed to control the duel. Majestic Mirage lets your Stardust Synchros trigger additional beneficial effects for you by tributing or banishing them for their effects. As another cool tech option, you can look to The Great Soul (YGOrg Translation) to pull even more Level 1 Dragons to make your high-level Accel Synchro Summons with your Formula Synchron! Shine with the shooting stars with this Swordsoul-enabled build. Note: Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon was revealed when I posted this video, but definitely look to include that if you build this deck yourself!
The second build casts a spell on the opponent with a variety of Spellcasters. Everything from Mythical Beast Jackal King to Magical Exemplar can turn Spell activations into further card advantage, especially when you can get important monsters into your hand through draw power or the effect of Chaos Ruler, the Chaotic Magical Dragon. I decided to build this strategy around Wonders of Nature (YGOrg Translation), an Equip Spell that summons a Spellcaster from the hand and spins all Dragons on the field back to the hand – because once Wonders of Nature hits the GY, it tutors a ‘Fusion’ or ‘Polymerization‘ Spell during the End Phase. This deck uses this effect to grab Magicalized Fusion, offering access to: Time Wizard of Tomorrow, to nuke all monsters and potentially inflict lethal effect damage, Supreme Arcanite Magician, for more Spell Counter shenanigans, or Quintet Magician, for a guaranteed destruction of your opponent’s board. Combined, this strategy can be a lot, but it was definitely time to forge these Spellcaster Swordsoul monsters, such as Unlikely Swordsoul Allies (YGOrg Translation) and The Iris Swordsoul, into a strategy!
