Engines on Engines on Engines… plus some Plasma!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to a new hybrid profile, this time building an entire deck around one solid combination – Reborn Tengu and Visas Starfrost. Tengu is a simple Level 4 monster that floats into another copy of itself whenever it leaves the field. Combine this with the Level 6 Tuner, Visas Starfrost, and you can go through all three copies of Tengu while Synchro Summoning Baronne de Fleur, one of the most powerful Synchro monsters in the game. While this interaction is neat, that doesn’t necessitate an entire deck, so I first turned to expanding the build to include a larger Scareclaw engine, as Primative Planet Reichphobia is a Field Spell that tutors a Scareclaw monster or Starfrost itself. Scareclaw Reichheart is the marquee Effect monster here, tutoring a Scareclaw support S/T on summon, and potentially drawing an additional card if 3 or more Defense Position monsters are on the field. Combine that with the theme’s link monster, Scareclaw Tri-Heart, and you have the power to disrupt your opponent’s gamestate while continuing to amass free card advantage.
Speaking of card advantage, I decided to go all in on the concept by next turning to the Adventurer engine. This is so ubiquitous in the game at this point, but the main takeaway is that it provides you with plenty of monsters on the board and a ton of free Spell cards face-up in your backrow. Combined with Fire Formation – Tenki, this deck now had everything it needed to support the new Level 5 Spellcaster monster, Adularia of the Moonlit Water (YGOrg Translation), which can Special Summon itself from the hand whenever you have a face-up card in your S/T zone. Additionally, Adularia can send 2 face-up cards from your S/T zone to send any Level 4 or lower monster from the Deck to the GY. This is especially powerful due to the generality of the milling – send a copy of Water Enchantress of the Temple to prepare for another Adventurer play on the following turn or just to mill a Scareclaw to setup for Tri-Heart. Finally, with the emphasis on Continuous Spells and tons of free monsters, I felt like a D – Force and Destiny HERO Plasma inclusion was warranted to round out the deck. Channel your Avarice for card advantage with this advantage-driven hybrid of various engines and powerful utility options!
