Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and today I am sinking my teeth into an upgraded Branded deck now that we have multiple waves of legacy support and their new Structure Deck! If you missed out on the new cards, let me do a quick rundown: Fallen of the White Dragon (YGOrg Translation) is up first, a new alter-ego for Fallen of Albaz, that summons an Ecclesia monster from hand/deck/GY on summon. Ideally you’ll use this to bring out Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous, leading to the Synchro Summon of Ecclesia of the Black Dragon (YGOrg Translation), a Level 8 Synchro that can Special Summon any monster from your Deck or GY that mentions Fallen of Albaz during your Main Phase and then again during the opponent’s! Then there’s Tri-Brigade Springans Kitt (YGOrg Translation), a new Level 4 that can Special Summon itself from the hand when you control either a Tri-Brigade or Springans monster, then when sent to GY, it Special Summons one of those from your GY or a mention that mentions Fallen of Albaz. The star of the new support, at least to me, is Gung-ho! Springans! (YGOrg Translation), a new R4NK Xyz monster that not only summons Springans Captain Sargas when sent to GY, but also can detach 2 materials to summon a Springans, Therion, or Albaz-mentioning monster from deck! All of that stacks up great, especially on top of The Fallen & The Virtuous, giving the theme even more Branded disruption.
Now these cards are all super cool, but what does walking away from Branded Fusion give you? Well, Synchro and Xyz access is clearly off the table when Fusion is your primary combo card, and you miss out on a lot of utility that the Springan theme itself can bring. You see, you’re not just getting Gung-ho! for your trouble – you also get access to the R8NK Gigantic “Champion” Sargas to tutor Springans/Therion cards and disrupt the opponent, plus you get protection from Decisive Battle of Golgonda. Golgonda is especially powerful here, as you’ll get a free Springans summon every turn, as long as you have Albaz in field or GY. Plus, with the help of Guiding Quem, the Virtuous, you can even tutor Golgonda out of the deck if you use Quem then Xyz Summon Springans Merrymaker, then utilize a Springans Booty tutored off of Gigantic Sargas! All of this and I haven’t had the chance to mention Tally-Ho! Springans, a Quick-Play Spell that can tutor a Springans monster AND summon 3 from your GY off of one activation. Feel free to jump off the bandwagon and join the Springans brigade with all the new Branded Support!

All this time I thought Rockey was the only way to recover Decisive Battle from the GY, now I know you can use Springans Booty to retrieve it as well. Thanks!
