Strategic Summary:
Welcome to today’s Creative Deck Profile, and I just have to say, I am really proud of this combination I’m created. For those of you who have ignored all of the Shiranui cards outside of their broken Trap, the Shiranui theme consists of FIRE Zombie monsters that primarily aim to Synchro Summon Zombie bosses. Their core boss is Shiranui Sunsaga, a Level 10 that can shuffle back Zombie Synchros from your GY or banishment to destroy an equal number of cards your opponent controls, plus it can protect any Zombie monster from being destroyed by banishing a Shiranui from your GY instead. To make this, the theme has a suite of Main Deck monsters that have a primary effect and a secondary effect when banished. For example, Shiranui Solitaire can tribute a Zombie to Special Summon a Zombie Tuner with 0 DEF, or if banished, it can Special Summon another banished Shiranui monster. Outside of Uni-Zombie which is the Tuner for all Zombie Decks, the theme also has Shiranui Spectralsword, which can faux-Synchro a Zombie by banishing itself and a non-Tuner Zombie from the GY, and Shiranui Spectralsword Shade, which can tribute itself to Special Summon 2 banished Zombie monsters, including at least 1 Shiranui.
If you haven’t figured out the trend yet, this deck is all about looping your Zombies in and out of your banishment, making bosses along the way. And while it thrived in the Duel Links environment for quite some time, the theme just never had a good way to put up a solid board in the TCG/OCG… that is, until they were gifted a solid way to banish multiple Shiranui at the same time: Dark World Accession. You see, Accession can Fusion Summon any Fiend Fusion by banishing its materials from the Field or GY. This combo really came to be when The Duke of Demise (YGOrg Translation) was revealed, as this Fiend Fusion can be made using any 2 Fiend or Zombie Monsters, ergo, the perfect fit for this deck. It also helps that Accession is so easily accessible via the effect of Snoww, Unlight of the Dark World, as Snoww can be triggered by both Dark Corridor or the ‘when banished’ effect of Shiranui Squire, which lets you draw a card then discard. As you’ll see in the replays, the optimal combo of the deck lets you Fusion Summon Demise, then recycle Dark World Accession to Fusion Summon a second time, giving you a Grapha, Dragon Overlord of Dark World to beef up your end board. Plus, you can even utilize Demise’s additional Normal Summon to trigger Squire or Shiranui Spiritmaster as bonus extenders. But wait, there’s even more, as you also can get additional Normal Summons off of Time-Tearing Morganite! That’s right, Morganite makes its appearance again, such a fun card. Anyways, the final core card for today’s build is Ghost Meets Girl – a Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga. You know, I just had to abuse this Trap in the deck it was made for before it dies due to Transaction Rollback stupidity. Hope you have as much fun with this Hybrid build as I did making it!

Huh, I didn’t expect someone to still try to do things with Shiranui these days
Didn’t expect Shiranuis to be made playable nowadays. Thanks man you brought back a childhood deck that I love, gonna build this
Seeing three Normal Summons turn 1, using Uni-Zombie and Squire to discard as an effect, realizing that Duke of Demise is a FIEND, not a zombie, so you can use Accession to summon it… what a great build!!
Giving feedback in a toxic way is totally useless. You only drive away people who try to contribute their grain of sand to the game
It’s not even clear what you’re criticizing in the first place. If you can’t correctly communicate the mistake someone makes and constructively explain why it’s wrong, it’s better not to participate in the discussion in the first place
These lists are usually pretty bad tbh, I don’t really understand the point of these because nobody with half a brain is gonna try them.
I mean, even if you don’t like the deck list as is doesn’t mean they don’t serve I point. This lists have inspired me to try new things I hadn’t considered before, and are good starting points for additional deck crafting.
