Return to the depths with teeth and tentacles.

Strategic Summary:
Descend back into the depths with the Shark theme, a group of Level 4 WATER monsters that spam the board and setup for Xyz Summons! That’s right, today’s build is brought to you by endless WATER extenders. You got Buzzsaw Shark, which summons another Fish from the deck. Or you have Ice Knight (YGOrg Translation) and Lantern Shark, which gets other WATER monsters out of your hand and onto your board. Or… for a different flavor, Silent Angler and Silent Sea Nettle (YGOrg Translation) which summon themselves from the hand. All of these cards are great at spamming the board, but alone they didn’t provide a win condition. I’ve used them in the past to support Time Thief, but even that had its weaknesses… but with AC01, we actually have a win condition, and that’s burn damage and board control.
Number 4: Stealth Kragen (YGOrg Translation) is the crux of this strategy, a R4NK Xyz monster that changes the attribute of all monsters on the board to WATER. This then enables its second effect, a quick effect to destroy a WATER monster your opponent controls and burning them for half its ATK while it was on the field. Even if your opponent destroys Stealth, it fights back with a passion, summoning multiple Kragen Spawn (YGOrg Translation) from the Extra Deck, which then have quick effects to destroy WATER monsters the opponent controls. Combine this with the generic Trap support Xyz decks have gotten over the years, such as Xyz Revive Splash, and you have a recipe to destroy 4 monsters in a single Main Phase… without targeting. Not bad! If you want to stick to other tried and true forms of disruption, Bahamut Shark into Toadally Awesome is a good option, Numbers Protect (YGOrg Translation) offers an omni-negate Counter Trap, or turn to Valiant Shark Lancer for even more destruction. Bait your opponent into the jaws of defeat with these Kragens!
