Strategic Summary:
Capitalizing on the recently unlimited Pantheism of the Monarchs, the Monarch deck has added a significant amount of consistency to its tribute-summoning repertoire. Erebus, Ehther, and Kuraz are joined here by a ‘faux’ monarch, Witchcrafter Haine, which serves as both another 2400/1000 monster in addition to being a great Magicians’ Souls target. Since your Monarch spells/traps enjoy the GY, Souls is a great addition to spread your Domain over all the land. Between Souls, Kuraz, and 3 Pantheism, the draw power unlocks extra room for a few personal tech options. In my case, I decided a Caius the Mega Monarch was warranted to help this strategy clear out boards even more. But as always, Erebus the Underworld Monarch remains your core removal option, even able to out a Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon! So why wait – grab your scepter and unleash fury upon the lands, as The Prime Monarch has returned!
