How about more Traps for your Insects, Plants, and Reptiles?

Strategic Summary:
Welcome to today’s Trap-tastic profile, and I am rolling out yet another Ragnaraika build because this archetype is a blast. If you missed my last take on it, be sure to check it out here paired with the Traptrix theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_b0BnIuMT-4. This time around, we’re dropping the Traptrix and Trap Hole cards, but keeping all of the Trap Tricks, because we have the Bee! monsters to support today’s strategy. This subtheme consists of Wannabee! and Newbee! (YGOrg Translation), and each is a Level 2 LIGHT Insect with a 0/0 statline. Wannabee! is up first, and it can be sent to the GY during the End Phase to set a Trap card from the top of your deck. On the other hand, Newbee! can be Special Summoned whenever you have any monster with a 0/0 statline in your GY. Whenever Newbee! is Special Summoned, it adds a LIGHT Insect monster back to your hand, then it places a Trap from your GY or banishment back into the deck. While of course both requirements are met by Wannabee!, Ragnaraika the Evil Seed meets the first and Ragnaraika Samurai Beetle meets the second!
Alright, so what can the Ragnaraika theme actually do when backed by Traps? A lot actually, as it doesn’t need too much to combo. With just a few cards, the deck can access its vast library of Link options, and once Ragnaraika Wicked Butterfly starts drawing you some cards, this deck quickly can let its advantage climb out of control. Speaking of all the supporting Traps, today’s build utilizes both Dominus Purge and Dominus Impulse (YGOrg Translation), and while you don’t want to have to activate either from the hand due to the multi-Attribute nature of the Ragnaraika, you can still take great advantage of their powerful effects. On the other hand, I also included Terrors of the Afterroot, which lets you swap a monster on the field, a banished monster, and one from their GY. Plus, it can be banished from the GY and recycle a Ragnaraika the Evil Seed to set another Terrors Trap from your deck. Options for those include Terrors of the Overroot, which can swap a card your opponent controls with a set one from their GY, or Terrors of the Underroot, which can swap cards between your opponent’s GY and banishment! Combine all of this together with the two in-theme Ragnaraika cards, endlessly cycled back to your board, and you’ll have plenty of disruption to stand toe-to-toe with any opponent… or should I say scale to scale? Wing to wing? Antenna to antenna? Fang to fang? Who really knows, but hope you enjoy the strategy nevertheless!
