Did you play your cards right to summon Slifer at Thunderspeed?

Strategic Summary:
Today’s profile features the LIGHT Warrior Knight series, centered around King’s, Queen’s, and Jack’s Knight. This revitalized theme was the center of the recent TCG Premiere set, King’s Court, and it offered the deck one of the best grind games in the business, as its cards recycle themselves to the hand by recycling LIGHT warriors back into the deck for reuse! Take for example Joker’s Straight, which discards a card, summons Queen’s Knight, then gives you a King’s Knight to hand and an additional summon. Then, during either End Phase, it returns to the hand by shuffling a LIGHT Warrior from your GY into the deck. In addition to the shuffling effect, Joker’s Wild takes a page out of the Dual Avatar playbook, offering you the ability to copy any Spell for its effect that lists King’s, Queen’s, and Jack’s Knight! If you don’t get either of these starter options, Joker’s Knight can also setup for a successful King’s Knight effect, as it can copy the name of another Knight while summoning itself from the hand. While these three cards serve as the core of the new support, there are also other key options as well to tie the theme back to Slifer the Sky Dragon!
This section all starts with Thunderspeed Summon, a Quickplay spell that lets you Normal Summon a Level 10 monster. However, if you have your three Poker Knights, it instead adds a Level 10 non-DARK monster with ? ATK to your hand, THEN Normal Summons a Level 10 monster. In other words, instant Slifer, especially all three knights is the perfect amount of tributes needed for the Sky Dragon’s summon. While Slifer is your main Win Condition, the alternative lies in Fusion monsters. Due to the theme’s prior use of Arcana Knight Joker, King’s Court also brought a themed Fusion Spell to the mix – Face Card Fusion. If you control any of your three knights, you can Fusion using 1 monster from your deck in addition to any other monster from your hand or field. For my take on the theme, I’m bringing back Idaten the Conqueror Star, since it searches your Joker’s Knight on summon! Fight back against fate with these Face Card cards, and form your own King’s Court!
