The Nephthys archetype finds a destructive boost in potential.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for my next foray into the Nephthys theme, this time with the help of Visas Starfrost! The Nephthys archetype was designed to support the antique Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, an iconic monster from back in the day that received an entire archetype of devoted acolytes. In particular, Conductor of Nephthys and Devotee of Nephthys were two Level 2 Ritual monsters that shunned tradition, each Special Summoning a Nephthys monster upon being Ritual Summoned. Whether you summon Disciple of Nephthys which tutors a Nephthys monster by destroying a card in hand or Matriarch of Nephthys which Special Summons a Nephthys monster from your GY by destroying a card in hand, destruction really is the name of the game once your first Ritual monster hits the board. And destruction is the perfect segway into the Manadome theme.
Initially released in CYAC, the Manadome archetype only has a small number of monsters and yet contributes an outsized impact. Manadome Meek (YGOrg Translation) and Manadome Hearless (YGOrg Translation) each triggers when destroyed by battle or card effect, summoning another copy of themselves from the deck. Combine that with Visas Starfrost or Manadome Riumheart (YGOrg Translation), and you have the perfect chain of destruction to augment your board. To ensure consistency, either Primal Planet Kalarium (YGOrg Translation) (or Kalarium through Manadome Abscission (YGOrg Translation)) allows you to tutor the Manadome you need, letting you build a board of disruptive Synchro monsters to hold off attempts from your opponent to kill you before the Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys is reborn. Synchro Monsters such as Tri-Edge Master (YGOrg Translation) also help here, letting you draw an additional card and hopefully getting to that missing Nephthys Ritual Summoning piece that you need… which in actuality, is quite easy with the help of both Pre-Preparation of Rites and Preparation of Rites. And don’t forget you always can have a Vicious Astroud (YGOrg Translation) in your back pocket for emergencies!
