Eater of Millions wants his pancake tower.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome to another CDP on a brand new theme coming out in CYAC – Nemurelia. This archetype revolves around banishing the Extra Deck face-down, because once it’s depleted, Dreaming Nemurelia (YGOrg Translation) can emerge from your face-up Extra Deck, banishing face-down up to 1 card your opponent controls or in their GY per 3 of your face-down banished cards. Assuming math is hard, if you have 15 cards banished face-down, you get to banish 5 of theirs. Leading up to this effect is Dreaming’s Pendulum Effect, which places The Sleeping Beauty Tower of Nemurelia (YGOrg Translation) from your Deck onto the field. In turn, Tower can tutor 2 Level 10 Beast monsters at the cost of 2 face-down banished cards from your Extra Deck, specifically your two Nemurelia beasts: Nemurelia’s Dream Defender – Oreiller (YGOrg Translation) and Nemurelia’s Dream Defender – Couette (YGOrg Translation). Each of these monsters can be Special Summoned while you have a face-up Pendulum Monster in your Extra Deck, and Oreiller adds more offense while Couette provides a bit of protection against cards or effects that target a Nemurelia card. To close out this small new archetype, we have one additional support Spell, Sweet Dreams, Nemurelia (YGOrg Translation), which tutors any Nemurelia monster.
With all of this banishing and consistency comes great responsibility – the responsibility to benefit from banishing so many cards. Gren Maju Da Eiza comes in clutch here, gaining 400 ATK/DEF for each of your banished cards. This really stacks up, especially once you’ve resolved a Pot of Desires or Pot of Prosperity. Struggling to find a Maju? Well, you’re in luck because Eater of Millions fills a similar niche, except it only gains 100 ATK/DEF for each face-down banished card. While it might not be as good of a finisher, it certainly can Special Summon itself from the hand much easier. If you don’t need to leverage all these banished cards for ATK power, you can also turn to Gigantic Thunder Cross (YGOrg Translation), an upcoming Normal Trap Card that can target monsters on the field or in the GYs equal to the difference between the number of each player’s banished cards. You can definitely swing a difference that can make a difference there, making the downside of this Trap completely worth it. Sweet Dreams, Nemurelia – Eater and Maju await.
