Strategic Summary:
Delivering on a heavily requested theme, this video showcases replays using a test build of Mecha Phantom Beast Speedroid, an updated version of the ‘Scramble’ build from an old CDS article that I posted on the Mecha Phantom Beast archetype back in 2016! Check out the now-outdated article here if you are interested: https://ygorganization.com/mpb/ . The strategy behind these WIND machines is to make the most of their in-theme ‘Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens’, Level 3 WIND monsters that can be tributed to activate various MPB effects. in a Scramble!! Scramble!! build, these tokens can be converted directly into MPB monsters, allowing for a formation of jets to swoosh past the opponent before they even have time to properly react!
As far as the Speedroid half of the monster lineup – they offer the variety needed to be the crew that keep the MPB airborne. Whether it is the two Pendulum Speedroid monsters offering an escape from the hand when you’ve searched too many planes with Mecha Phantom Beast Megaraptor or easily summoned WIND machines to get to Aurora such as Speedroid Taketomborg or Speedroid CarTurbo, this build definitely focuses entirely upon fueling our half-aircraft/half-beast theme for the fight of its life. Either way, if you like Tokens, super cool airplanes, and using Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon for more than just absurd combos, grab your joysticks and take MPB for a joyride with the help of some repair drone Speedroids!
