Misturugi End of the World, with Dogmatika and Radiant Typhoon [CDP]

Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for the second CDP highlighting the Mitsurugi archetype, and this time we are taking the build in a more aggressive direction by filling it with as many micro-engines as possible! Now that you’re back, let’s talk about what the Mitsurugi do best – they play extremely well with others. While we’ve seen many different variants in the meta over the past year, today’s build takes that much further. We’ll start with the Dogmatika engine, as Dogmatika Maximus, Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Thunderbolt, and Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted all serve roles in empowering your endboard. The first sends 2 cards from the Extra to the GY, letting you setup for Shaddoll Schism, set The Fallen & The Virtuous, or draw a card with Garura, Wings of Resonant Life. The second lets you set a Trap to disrupt or recover during the opponents turn, then the third lets you disrupt an opponent’s monster effect. Of course, all of these options are readily enabled by Nadir Servant or Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous!

The next micro-engine features the Radiant Typhoon archetype, with Radiant Typhoon Swen and Radiant Typhoon Eldam making an appearance, alongside their draw Spell, Radiant Typhoon Vision. This engine primarily gets you more bodies, while also comboing with the many Quick-Play Spells in the build to dig to even more of your great options. This brings us to the final primary archetype in the build – the End of the World, or Demise/Ruin theme. They’ve received a great new generic option in End of the World Ruler (YGOrg Translation), a Level 10 Ritual that can reveal itself and banish a Ritual Spell from the Deck to apply its effect. In this case, it is an excellent way to utilize Mitsurugi Ritual straight from the Deck! Not only is this new Ruler in play, but Demise, King of Armageddon also finds a home here, as he can easily be summoned straight out of the deck with Turning of the World, the Quick-Play Ritual Spell. This gives your deck even more board-breaking potential, adding to Ame no Murakumo no Mitsurugi. With both of those options in tow, and full playsets of Forbidden Droplet and Forbidden Crown (YGOrg Translation), you are all set to empower the Mitsurugi Rituals to win the duel under their own strength!
