Wedju opens a Gateway to Chaos!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another CDP, and this time we’re returning to the Millennium strategy as they’re received yet another impactful control element to empower the deck, at least since the last time I’ve covered them. This new card is Soul of Gaia the Fierce Knight (YGOrg Translation), a Level 6 EARTH Warrior that can Normal Summon itself without tributing as long as you have a Level 5 or higher Monster Card on the field, such as a Millennium in your backrow from Wedju Temple. Once you do, it increases the level of your opponent’s summoned monsters, as well as letting you negate a monster effect activation once per turn. This pairs extremely well with The Unstoppable Exodia Incarnate, but did you realize that this also pairs hilariously well with Rainbow Bridge of Salvation? Sure, the Millennium strategy already had a boardwipe, but if you tally it up, their standard endboard of Incarnate + Gaia now negates an S/T, negates a monster, destroys all cards on the field with Exxod Fires of Rage, and wipes all cards in the hands/fields/GY to deck to reset the duel, if needed! Even if that doesn’t end the duel, Rainbow Bridge sets you up to own the duel on your second turn, starting off with a fresh hand of 6 cards, any Field Spell of your choosing, and Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle! So powerful, I know. Anyways, if you can’t wait to Obliterate!!! Blaze your opponent, this might just be the new deck for you!
