CDP: Fire Fist Mannadium, Combos in Formation

Bridge into Fire Fist combos without locks.

Strategic Summary:

Today’s CDP features the return of the Fire Fist theme to my channel, and this build originated from me trying to answer a simple question: How can we start Fire Fist combos that don’t lock you into Fire Fists too early? They have a ton of potential, generating so much free advantage with Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Dragon, and while a Sinful Spoils package helped, it wasn’t quite enough to boost them out of obscurity. That’s when it hit me – why not try a Mannadium engine, since it can make Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Horse Prince, and kick everything off with a Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Rooster summon. This goal is extremely consistent, as a single copy of Peaceful Planet Calarium, or Mannadium Riumheart is enough. It also is fairly brick-less, as any additional copies of those cards (or the FIRE Tuner in Mannadium Torrid), just add to the number of monsters you’ll have for link combos later on in the turn.

Now that we’re through the opening combo lines, let’s talk about what makes the Fire Fist theme so good – the lack of hard Once Per Turn effects and the effect of Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Eagle, which removes the cost to activate Fire Fist monsters’ effects. If you summon Dragon while Eagle is on the field, that’s an additional free Fire Fist Summon. Have a way to get to Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Bear while Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Tiger King is on the field? Then Dragons are about to be coming your way from the deck, for free. Since Dragon also sets Fire Formation Trap cards, your turn can be spent building a solid board of links, but also back that with Ultimate Fire Formation – Sinto to provide a S/T negate, in addition to Ultimate Fire Formation – Seito that will end the duel with a flood of advantage, should your opponent survive. Join the brotherhood, now which includes more mythical orbs.
