Strategic Summary:
Today’s profile features Pendulums, specifically two archetypes and a third theme that all share a combination of odd and even Pendulum Scales. First up is the Majespecter, a group of WIND Spellcasters that revolve entirely around disruption. Each of these animals command tornados as they get continuously tributed to wield the power of their Spell/Trap card support. For example, Majespecter Fox – Kyubi searches a Majespecter Trap on summon. If you search Majespecter Tempest, you can tribute any WIND Spellcaster to negate a monster effect activation or a Special Summon. If you search Majespecter Tornado, you can banish an opponent’s monster instead. Each of the other Majespecter monsters offers a similar form of free card advantage on summon, so this means that your Pendulum Summons will quickly rack up major advantages for your gamestate.
On the other end of the scale, today’s profile also features a Solfachord engine, the newest Pendulum theme recently entering the TCG in DBP: Ancient Guardians. This Fairy archetype offers a powerful advantage – Solfachord Elegance. This Normal Spell allows you to set one scale, two scales, or even get two draws, whichever best fits the situation. Even with just a small investment on the monster front, this is normally enough to support your Majespecter core. That said, there is also another Pendulum Engine in play – the Saambell/Risebell series. Saambell the Reuniter (YGOrg Translation) is a new WIND/Spellcaster that can Special Summon itself from your Pendulum Zone or special summon another monster from your hand with the same level – Perfect for a deck that gains so much free advantage! Combine the perfect Majespecter Supercell as these three themes join forces with the help of Ties of the Brethren!
