Invoke and Equip your Extra Deck and abuse the Secret Sanctuary.

Strategic Summary:
Let the Magistus archetype take center stage as you invoke or equip all of the Extra Deck monsters! The Magistus archetype was the odd sheep from last year’s Deck Build Pack, offering little competitive hope compared to its Live Twin and Drytron compadres. However, this archetype is very unique in its primary mechanic of equipping Link, Synchro, Fusion and Xyz monsters as Equip Spells. For example, Zoroa, the Magistus of Flame can equip one such Magistus from the Extra Deck to itself, then it can also summon another Level 4 Spellcaster from hand or GY when it is equipped with a Magistus Monster Card. This strategy received a major boost with the release in LIOV of Rilliona, the Magistus Glass Witch (YGOrg Translation), a new R4NK monster that can detach a material to summon any other Magistus from the deck! Since it can be made with any 2 Level 4 Spellcasters of different attributes, the Level 4 Dogmatika monsters join Performage Trick Clown to ensure that you have all the material you need to shine. What better to summon with the new Rilliona than Rilliona, the Magistus of Verre, her main deck version, and you also gain access to the theme’s wide array of support spells.
Finally, today’s strategy all comes together with the help of Secret Village of the Spellcasters and Secret Sanctuary of the Spellcasters. Since you will almost always have a face-up Spellcaster and a face-up equipped Magistus Extra Deck monster as a Spell card, both of these disruptive support cards will prevent the opponent from mounting a full defense. That is, unless they summon a Spellcaster monster of their own. But as you’ll see in the replays above, the solution to that is simple – just steal it away with Aiwass, the Magistus Spell Spirit and you keep your opponent locked down! Weave your religious spells of grace with the Magistus paired with the Dogmatika, combining the power of Synchro, Fusion, Xyz and Link Summons… with a religious cult hell-bent on defeating them.
