Creative Deck Profile: Lightsworn Three Ways

Shine bright in three different approaches with the sworn arbiters of Judgment!

Strategic Summary:

Today’s CDP features three different approaches to using the Lightsworn archetype, a group of LIGHT monsters of various types that revolve around sending cards from the deck to the GY. A sub-series of ‘Twilightsworn’ monsters also exists, focusing on banishing Lightsworn monsters for various corrupted versions of the original Lightsworn monsters. In this CDP, three builds are featured.

(1) The first I have dubbed Modernized ‘Traditional’ Lightsworn, focusing on GY effects as a whole, but incorporating new possibilities such as using the upcoming Chaos Ruler the Chaotic Demonic Dragon (YGOrg Translation) to unlock summoning Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity during your opponent’s turn. This utilizes old classics such as a full Performage engine, Plaguespreader Zombie, and a touch of Chaos monsters.

(2) The second is Synchron Lightsworn, focusing on making use of the Halqifibrax combos to make Chaos Ruler while also drawing an absurd number of cards. As this build features the heaviest advantage-gains, it also happens to be the build centered around Judgment Dragon, as well as including an appearance from Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman.

(3) The third and final build is Lightsworn Eldlich, an extremely aggressive take on the relatively new Eldlich archetype. This build features the Golden Lord in all of his glory, as your Lightsworn milling effects are used to fuel countless searches of Eldixirs and Golden Lands!
