Hand Trapping in front of Cops? Bad move buddy.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another CDP showcasing newly revealed themes, and today’s primary archetype is the K9! This Xyz-based archetype centers around Level 5 monsters that can Special Summon themselves from the hand after the opponent has activated a monster effect in the hand or GY, such as K9 – #17 Izuna (YGOrg Translation). To enable their Xyz Plays, K9 – #66a Jokull (YGOrg Translation) and K9 – #66b Lantern (YGOrg Translation) both bring another Level 5 monster to the board with them, and since they both happen to be DARK Aqua and DARK Pyro monsters, they’re supported by the ALIN search Spell – Chaotic Elements (YGOrg Translation). While they each also search another K9 card while on the field, allowing you to advance your gamestate, they also can be turned into K9 – #17 “Ripper” (YGOrg Translation), which searches a K9 card of its own! In addition to the Level 5s, this theme also has two Quick-Play Spells, K9 – LC Liberation (YGOrg Translation) and K9 – EX Forced Liberation (YGOrg Translation), that allow you to use an existing Xyz Monster to Special Summon a K9 Xyz with a different name, such as the R9NK Xyz boss K9 – EX “Werewolf” (YGOrg Translation). The innate consistency paired with easy access to power lets this deck have a great base, but I think there’s a lot of room to work further, hence the introduction of the Crystron cards as well!
The Crystron archetype consists of WATER Machines that predominantly aim to Synchro Summon, but they also fit in perfectly here with their two Level 5 Main Deck monsters. Crystron Sulfefnir and Crystron Sulfador each Special Summon themselves quite easily, adding more Level 5 fuel to the fire as well as give you access to Cyber Dragon Infinity for additional negation. The rest of the Crystron package increases its toolboxing, from adding Arms of Genex Return Zero for up to 6 negates in a turn to providing additional disruption in the form of Crystron Cluster. Nothing is held back once the K9 are on the chase, so hope you enjoy today’s hyper-consistent hybrid take on the new archetype!
