FIRE Fiends and a DARK Witch. Cliché, amirite?

Strategic Summary:
Today’s CDP closes out the week with another use for the new Diabellestarr and Sinful Spoils support cards, this time paired with the Infernoid archetype. The Infernoid archetype consists of FIRE Fiend monsters that break the norms of conventional monsters, as all but one can be Special Summoned from the hand or GY by banishing a number of other Infernoid monsters from the hand or GY. Led by Infernoid Onuncu and Infernoid Devyaty, each requiring you to banish 3 Infernoid monsters to Special Summon, this theme doesn’t mess around when it comes to destroying things or negating your opponent’s activations. You see, Onuncu destroys all other monsters when Special Summoned and can tribute any monster to negate the activation of a S/T or its effect, while Devyaty destroys all non-Void Spell/Trap cards when Special Summoned and can tribute any monster to negate the activation of a monster effect. Adding fuel to this fire is the key monster in the archetype, Infernoid Decatron, which can send any Infernoid monster from your Deck to the GY when summoned to assume its level and effects. As a result, the traditional gameplan for Infernoid decks has been to use Void Vanishment to tutor a copy of Void Feast, then use Feast during the opponent’s turn to Special Summon 2 Decatron and an Infernoid Sjette, then using both Decatrons to copy your two bosses. In short, mega profit for Vanishment and a discard.
While that’s still a very valid combo in today’s build, I also want to take a moment to appreciate the other things you can do now. You see, with Diabellestarr the Dark Witch (YGOrg Translation) and her tutor Spell card “The Sinful Spoils Hunter Fiend” (YGOrg Translation), Infernoids serve as effectively free fodder to send to the GY to summon your Diabellestarr. Then when you do, she can tutor another Sinful Spoils card, such as The Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye (YGOrg Translation), which can Special Summon a copy of Decatron from your deck. The other key synergy here is that if you tribute Diabellestarr with one of your Infernoid monsters during your opponent’s turn, she will Special Summon herself right back to your board, tutoring you a new Sinful Spoil to use on your next turn. This helps you get ahead and stay ahead of your opponent until the end of the game! Now, there’s one more major engine at play today, and it’s the best Field Spell ever created for the Infernoid: Lair of Darkness. With Lair on the board, all monsters become DARK and you get to tribute an opponent’s monster in place of your own to activate an Infernoid effect. And since the entirety of my build really doesn’t need the Normal Summon, this gives me room for one of my personal favorite Lair of Darkness tech cards – The Dark – Hex-Sealed Fusion. This Level 3 Rock can tribute itself, and under Lair, one of your opponent’s monsters to Fusion Summon cards like Grapha, Dragon Overlord of Dark World, Invoked Caliga, or even Millenium-Eyes Restrict. Enter the Lair of Sinful Spoils and power up your Infernoid deck after the arrival of AGOV!
