Infernoid Fiendsmith, with Apex Polymerization [CDP] [Rogue]

    QuincymccoyBy QuincymccoyFebruary 26, 2026

How consistently would you like to Tierra?

    Replays:

    Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and in today’s build, we’re optimizing a deck to leverage Infernoid Tierra’s destructive capabilities as much as absolutely possible. Before we get to that, let’s talk about the Infernoids first, and most of them share a simple summoning condition – banish a number of Infernoid from your hand/GY to Special Summon themselves. As examples, Infernoid Patrulea just needs 1 to summon from the hand, while Infernoid Piaty needs 2 to summon from the hand or GY. The best way to load up the GY with Infernoids to banish is Infernoid Evil, a Level 1 Fusion monster made with any 2 Infernoids, as when it is Fusion Summoned, it banishes an Infernoid from the GY and mills a number of Infernoid monsters equal to the banished monster’s Level. So, with 11 Infernoid monsters in the Main Deck, you just have to be smart about what Level Infernoid you are banishing, to maximize its effect!

To make the most of this engine, you need plenty of ways to Fusion Summon, and my build today features all of the common options to make this feasible and consistent. First, you have Evil HERO Adusted Gold, which tutors Dark Fusion to make your Evil untargetable by the opponent when you Fusion Summon. Then there’s Mutiny in the Sky or Dark World Accession to Fusion Summon using material from the GY, with Dark Corridor (via Snoww, Unlight of Dark World) or Buio the Dawn’s Light to tutor them. Then there’s the whole Fiendsmith package, letting you Fusion Summon via Fiendsmith’s Sequence, also using material from the GY. Lastly, there’s the new option, Apex Polymerization (YGOrg Translation), which is the most powerful of all. You see, it targets a monster on field, Summons a monster of the same Type/Attribute from the Extra Deck, then Fusion Summons using both. So, you target any Infernoid, summon Tierra from deck, and voila you got an Evil that can possibly mill 11.

Okay, so what happens if you mill 11 (or 10, or 9, or 8)? Use any of those aforementioned Fusion options to use at least 10 Infernoid monsters for the Fusion Summon of Infernoid Tierra, ridding both players of their hands, 3 cards from the Extra Deck, and 3 cards from the top of the deck. Ideally, resolving Tierra will just win you the game, but the Fiendsmith package almost always ensures you have even more options to stack on top of that, whether it is A Bao A Qu, the Lightless Shadow or Infernoid Flood. As you’ll see in the replays, a wide diversity of different hands can get you to that win condition, so pay homage to Tierra and bring the Fire Flood!
