Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another Rogue Deck Profile, this time featuring the Infernoble Knight archetype with all of its new tools coming soon in the upcoming DUNE set. The Infernoble Knight archetype consists of FIRE Warrior monsters supported by Infernoble Arms Equip Spells, that just happen to take advantage of prior ‘Noble Knight’ support cards such as Heritage of the Chalice and Isolde, Twin Tales of the Noble Knights. As far as the new support goes, nothing beats the theme’s new Field Spell: The Noble Arms Museum (YGOrg Translation). Once activated, you can pay 1200 LP to tutor any other Noble Arms card, then once that effect has been activated, you can target a Noble Knight Monster Card in your S/T zone and Special Summon it. This is important because many of the Infernoble Knight monsters can equip themselves as Equip cards, such as Infernoble Knight Ogier equipping to a Warrior monster to make sure it cannot be destroyed by card effects. However where this is particularly useful is with the themes new LINK-1, Charlemagne (YGOrg Translation).
Charlemagne may be a LINK-1, but it requires you to use the theme’s Level 9 Synchro monster, Infernoble Knight Emperor Charles, while equipped with an Equip Card as Link Material. When Link Summoned, Charlemagne equips a Charles from your GY as an Equip Card, gaining its effects permanently. Additionally, Charlemagne also carries a Quick Effect to negate the activation of a Spell/Trap by sending an Equip Spell from your hand or face-up field to the GY. While all of this sounds cool, let me remind you one detail – Neither Charlemagne nor The Noble Arms Museum is a hard once-per-turn. If you summon Charlemagne before using the last effect of Museum, you can Special Summon your equipped Emperor Charles, equip it with something else, then make a second Charlemagne… and if you have a second copy of Museum… yes, you probably see where that is going. Speaking of Emperor Charles, it has actually never been easier to make him, now that the theme has another Level 4 Infernoble Knight that Special Summons itself in Infernoble Knight – Turpin (YGOrg Translation), as well as an easy way to a Level 5 Tuner in Angelica, Princess of Noble Arms (YGOrg Translation) which can Special Summon Infernoble Knight Captain Roland from your Extra Deck. Experience this theme like you’ve never explored before, with the newest of the Infernoble Knights!
