Guess we’re splitting up support waves again, eh?

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another wet Creative Deck Profile, and today’s build revisits the Atlantean strategy now that the second half of the support has been revealed. I didn’t want to just redo the same thing, so this take gives you a heavier Icejade take on the strategy, embracing Icejade Aegirine and other Icejade monsters to give the deck more of a grind game and less of a one-shot combo. If you want to see my more ‘standard’ take on WATER pile, be sure to check that out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz39e4ZqPXw
Now that you’re back, let’s talk about what is new. First up is the Atlantean version of Mermail Abyssteus, Poseidra, the Storming Atlantean. This Level 7 Sea Serpent Special Summons itself from the hand by sending another WATER monster from the hand/field to the GY, and when it’s Special Summoned, it can also send an Atlantean or Mermail card from the Deck to GY to spin a card back to the opponent’s hand. This becomes a third Level 7 that discards to Special, joining Icejade Ran Aegirine and Abyssteus, making it that much easier to Xyz Summon their new R7NK Xyz Monster, Abysstrite, the Atlantean Spirit (YGOrg Translation). This extender Special Summons any Level 7 or lower Fish/Aqua/Sea Serpent on Xyz Summon, plus it can detach a material to set any Abyss- Trap to your field. While Abyss-Squall remains a solid option for flooding the field in a pinch, there’s also the new Abyss-Team (YGOrg Translation), which lets you draw up to 3 cards. Plus, Team has a GY effect to recover a Mermail card when a WATER monster is destroyed by battle/card effect. Beyond this, the rest of the deck is dedicated to making the most of the tsunami of WATER monsters available to you, invoking Synchro, Xyz, and Link Summons to control the duel and ultimately win the game with a splash and flourish. Enjoy the seaspray, with this alternative take on a meta classic!

I just realised, there may be a genex ftk. Using genes solar and the new genex link monster, giving u infinite normal summons.
Solar deals damage every time a genex is sent to the gy. And is searchable of the new link. U can link climb or syncri climb into some more burn cards to make the process quicker.
Hi – Yes, that does exist! The issue with that is that the deck does not have a way to tutor Genex Solar, so you have to open it or run something like Small World. Also, if you can combo and arent disrupted, the board Genex can put up should be good enough to win the duel. Running the other cards just takes slots away from cards that can prevent disruption, like Crossout, Called By, or Sky Strikers.
Could u make a decklist relating to that quincy?
It hasn’t been done before, and ur pretty good at building decks.
The “infinite normal summons” can only be done on searches so only on the lv4 or lower mons. Also u can only synchro with them so it isn’t gonna be that easy to get all to gy consistently. So u gotta fill ED with mediocre synchros, which would be a bad idea if The link gets negated.
But ig it wasn’t that bad of an idea, someone defo gonna cook that. In the future.
I’m pretty new to the game, and one of my decks is icejade, which plays similar to this bit different
Ig with icejade u may wanna try using gamciel and kyoutou waterfront, as they can potentially provide a ton of negates when used properly and can even just be a way to remove a problematic monster.
But yeh, icejade was rlly fun with all the different variations u can gk into. (If u having a bad day, just but Barrier statue of the torrents).
