Strategic Summary:

Hi there, and welcome back to another CDP, this time featuring the return of the new Horus cards to my channel. If you missed my first take on them, be sure to check it out here.

This time around, all of the new cast of Horus monsters is back, but we’re going a bit further than just leveraging them for Xyz Summons. Although, that’s still very much a thing due to the impressive effects of Coach King Giantrainer and The Zombie Vampire. Instead, we’re using their unparalleled ability to get cards from the hand and deck to the GY to fuel the Zombie World strategy! Zombie World is a Field Spell that turns all monsters on the field and GYs into Zombies, while also enabling a pretty powerful threat in Doomking Balerdroch. It also has perfect synergy with Rivalry of Warlords, as the combination of the two can completely end any opponent’s hopes of winning a duel without a way to destroy one of your Spells/Traps in hand. And if your opponent does manange to destroy your Rivalry or World, they’ll be triggering your Horus effects to let you gain any lost advantage right back. That’s right, this deck makes your opponent jump through hoops just to play the duel. Beyond Doomking, the traditional Zombie players are here in force, from Uni-Zombie and Glow-Up Bloom to Mezuki, Gozuki, and Changshi the Spiridao. And with the help of Kelbek the Ancient Vanguard and Agido the Ancient Sentinel, you should have no problems filling your GY with Zombies and your opponent with despair. Watch the Glory, Aegis, Blessing, and Vanguard corrupt even the most resolute of duelists, when you combine them with a horde of Zombies!
