Now which Fusions won’t make the cut!?

Strategic Summary:
Today’s CDP features the return of the HERO archetype and many of its subthemes to my channel, and today we’re also showcasing the new DBP support cards for the Masked HEROes. Masked HERO Dusk Crow (YGOrg Translation) is up first, a new Level 4 DARK Warrior that Special Summons itself from the hand by banishing any HERO from the GY, then it tutors another Masked HERO. Right now, the only good option is Masked HERO Furnace (YGOrg Translation), a new Level 8 that can tutor Mask Change or Polymerization, then Special Summon itself from the GY when you Special Summon a non-FIRE HERO Fusion. Alongside the new FIRE comes a new Level 8 FIRE Masked HERO, Masked HERO Atomic (YGOrg Translation), which Special Summons a non-FIRE Masked HERO from the GY or banishment on summon, while also recovering your Mask Change for use in the subsequent turn. With these three new support cards amping up the existing HERO strategy, you are well-set up for success… but let’s cover what the other subthemes help out with.
On the Evil HERO end, the last big wave of HERO support gave the deck even more ways to get their monsters to the GY, and tools to extend their ability to go 1st. You have Dark Supremacy joining Contrast HERO Chaos to negate the effects of your opponent cards, there’s Evil HERO Vicious Claws joining Evil HERO Darkest Knight to punish your opponent for daring to destroy your monsters, and Evil HERO Malicious Bane has been joined by Elemental HERO Thunder Giant – Voltic Thunder (YGOrg Translation) to destroy as many cards on the field as possible! There’s Evil HERO Neos Lord to steal your opponent’s monsters… yes, the list goes on, but we’ll cut it there for now. The other new support to elevate the HERO strategy has been in Trap form, with Soul Union (YGOrg Translation) giving the deck another way to Fusion Summon during the opponent’s turn and Heros Rule 1: Five Freedoms (YGOrg Translation) giving the deck yet another way to control the GYs outside of Masked HERO Dark Law! All in all, the HERO theme has really become the jack of all trades, more and more able to handle any situation with each new wave of support.
