Unleash a Rainbow of Summons!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and this time we’re taking on a new upgrade to my personal Crystal Beast build, now that we have new combo routes available to the strategy. Before we get too deep into what’s new, let’s talk about what makes Crystal Beast tick – you see, the goal of this strategy is to leverage an initial summon of Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus and turn it into so much more. When you do so and crystalize Crystal Beast Rainbow Dragon into the backrow, it lets you grab your Rainbow Dragon, summon another Level 4 Crystal Beast from the deck, then set 2 Level 4 monsters out into the world for the material of your choice. What enhances this latent potential is the cards that can get you to that Sapphire Pegasus, such as Crystal Bond, Rainbow Bridge of the Heart, or Rainbow Bridge of Salvation. Traditionally you’d just turn those into Infernal Flame Banshee to lead into the Nemeses engine, but now, the DoomZ have introduced a new option!
That’s right – DoomZ Break – Diactorus is that great R4NK option to summon, only because it is a DoomZ Xyz to immediately turn into DoomZ XIII Over – Graflareio. Graflareio is your all-in-one option, tutoring a DoomZ S/T, destroying itself, summoning DoomZ VII Seven – Elara from deck, which then sets another DoomZ S/T. Of course this sets up DoomZ Destruction as a way to lock your opponent out of adding cards from their Main Deck to the hand, but it also gives you DoomZ Command “A.D.R.A.S.T.E.I.A.”, an Equip Spell that can crystalize your monster while summoning a DoomZ from GY or banishment. Taking this further, if you leverage this Equip Spell for Elara to faux-summon a second copy of DoomZ Break – Diactorus, you can even get a free copy of Golden Rule for even more Crystal Beast shenanigans.
Now all of these material and combos just get you to a few small endboard pieces, but what else can this deck truly do? Well, if you access Salvation, it can grab you a copy of Kyoutou Waterfront, which tutors Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju for 2 or more Quick Effect negations, once you’ve stacked up enough counters. If you have extra material to throw around, Banshee can still get you Nemeses Flag, which leads into Nemeses Corridor, which leads into a Thunder Dragon Colossus. If you still have more material, Sky Striker Ace – Camellia can be made with any 2 monsters, which can turn into a Prototype Sky Striker Ace – Amatsu to change an opponent’s activated monster effect. Then, back on theme, you can always turn to Rainbow Overdragon and Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive once you’ve gotten your 7th Crystal Beast onto your field or into the GY, each of which spins the field back to the deck on a whim! Oh, and don’t let me forget the extra disruption offered by Crystal Miracle. All of this and more is at your fingertips, if you choose to explore the luminescent Crystal Beast strategy in 2026!
