So many WIND Themes, you could call it a Tempest up in here.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to a CDP featuring one of my favorite archetypes ever, the Gusto, alongside quite a few other WIND themes. To start us off, the Gusto is most well known for being an archetype of WIND Psychic and Winged Beast monsters that Synchro Summon and aim to endlessly ram into an opponent’s monster to win the duel, through the help of Daigusto Sphreez. This strategy was further enhanced with the addition of Tailwind of Gusto, their own Equip Spell that boosts your ability to get more Gusto monsters to the field, but I personally love making the most of Gusto Griffin. Griffin is a unique Gusto in that it triggers whenever it is sent from the hand to the GY, rather than the Field, allowing you to Special Summon any Gusto monster from the deck when it does. For example, combine this with Lightning, Dragon Ruler of Drafts to bring out Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms with any Gusto Tuner for an easy WIND Synchro play! In my build, you can also turn to Mariamne, the True Dracophoenix, which can destroy up to 2 monsters in your hand or field to Special Summon itself. While of course this can trigger Griffin, a creative mind could also choose to trigger either Gusto Gulldo or Gusto Falco, and if you just happened to have Shrine of Mist Valley as well… yes, you probably see where I’m going with that, with all the free monsters you’d be about to summon.
Since this deck is clearly focused on the WIND Synchros, let’s take a moment to highlight the two themes that help make the strongest options. First up is the Speedroid, a theme of WIND Machines that can Synchro Summon threats such as Hi-Speedroid Clear Wing Rider or Clear Wing Fast Dragon with ease, giving you control over your opponent’s monsters. The Windwitch archetype also can contribute here, turning a single copy of Windwitch – Ice Bell into a powerful Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon that cannot be destroyed by card effects and can protect your plays from pesky hand traps. If you aren’t thrilled by any of those options, perhaps turn to the generic WIND monsters like Virtual World Kyubi – Shenshen, Baronne de Fleur, or even Cyber Slash Harpie Lady, all of which wait in the wings to sweep an opponent off their feet. Air currents collide with the convergence of so many WIND archetypes, so I just have one question – can you keep up with the Synchro Storm!?
