Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and this time I’m featuring the debut of the latest TCG WP theme to my channel, the GMX! This theme consists of Main Deck monsters of various Types that work with Dinosaur monsters to Fusion Summon their Level 8 Fusion boss monsters, summoned using a GMX and Dinosaur! Like any good Fusion theme in the modern game, they also have the ability to Fusion Summon from deck using GMX Applied Experiment #55, which has a unique take on the concept by excavating cards from the top of your deck until you’ve revealed a GMX and a Dinosaur, to then allow you to Fusion Summon. Where this theme truly shines is one of its Main Deck monsters, GMX Researcher Selande, as this FIRE Warrior can Special Summon any Level 3 or lower Dinosaur from your Deck when Normal Summoned. Of course this can turn to the GMX-supporting Returned Dino Daneen to tutor a GMX monster on summon, but I would prefer to use it to summon Babycerasaurus or Rex, Freight Fur Hire.
If you’re not familiar, Rex tutors any Fur Hire S/T on summon, and since the Fur Hire are also getting a brand-new wave in BPRO, he has plenty of great options to choose from. First up is Fandora, the Flying Fighting Furtress, a Field Spell that can tutor any Monster Fur Hire each turn. You could also grab the new Furtive Techniques Fure Hire, Fur All Your Ultimate Moves, a Trap that recycles itself back to hand whenever you summon a Level 8 or LINK-3 or higher Fur Hire and destroys/banishes face-up cards the opponent controls. All the other normal Fur Hire combos are also in play, with Rafale, Champion Fur Hire able to negate a Monster effect, Wiz, Sage Fur Hire able to negate a Spell/Trap effect, or Donpa, Marksman Fur Hire able to destroy a face-up card. Or, if you’re feeling spicy, you can turn to Rex’s adult form, Rex, Ride Fur Hire, a new Level 5 WIND Dinosaur that lets you draw a card every time a card is added from Deck to the opponent’s hand! Yes, this is a Mulcharmy counter, but it also helps you un-brick your hand if you draw too many Fur Hire monsters.
To close us out, it’s important to note that this strategy doesn’t really get locked until diving deep into Fur Hire combos, so you don’t have to stop with just pairing GMX and Fur Hire cards – you can also turn to other powerful Dinosaur options. In today’s build, I’ve also included Ultimate Conductor Tyranno, as a mass Book of Moon + OTK machine! And, with the arrival of GMX – ALLOS which can Special Summon any Dinosaur from your GY or banishment, you can not only recover Miscellaneousaurus to use it again later in the duel, but you can also protect your plays with an Evolzar Dolkka! Dreams of Dinosaurs For Hire have become a reality now that we have the new GMX archetype!
