Strategic Summary:
Today's CDP features the return of a Link OTK strategy to my channel, as this time I'm reinventing Crusadia with a few awesome fun engines. First things first, the Crusadia archetype consists of Link Monsters that gain ATK equal to that of what it points to, such as Crusadia Magius which points down to one of your MMZs. Additionally, each of the Main Deck Crusadia monsters facilitate spamming, as each can be Special Summoned from the hand into any MMZ a Link Monster points to. Ideally you will use your chain of Crusadia monsters to eventually make Crusadia Equimax, a LINK-3 option that also can tribute a Crusadia via Quick Effect to negate a face-up card the opponent controls.Now it's no surprise this strategy pairs well with the Kaiju, simply because the Kaiju offer big ATK power for minimal investment, letting you also summon to an opponent's MMZ that a Crusadia points to. You see, Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju is the main option, since it is a Level 10 Machine and boasts 3300 ATK, then there's also Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju which also rings in at 3300 ATK as a Thunder monster. Either/or, this is the perfect theme to pair with Subspace Battle, since you're most likely going to win every minigame of comparing ATK. That said, I've also included Carnot the Eternal Machine and Machina Ruinforce, as both are big Level 10 boss monsters with lots of ATK, that can also Special Summon themselves from GY inherently, avoiding any downsides of Subspace.
This brings us to our final big engine - the Sacred Beasts. The Sacred Beast re-theme features big beefy boys with 4000 ATK, such as Calamity of the Sacred Beasts - Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder and Infinity of the Sacred Beasts - Raviel, Lord of Phantasms. They also happen to form a great chain, with Raviel leading into Hamon, Hamon leading into Sacred Beasts Thunderclap, then Thunderclap placing 2 other copies, placing the Field Spell, then leveraging the 3 Thunderclap to summon a free Hamon and draw 2 cards. Altogether, this is a solid advantage combo, that helps build even more of an OTK presence. You can even turn to their new support card in BETB as another option - Shimmering Shatterer of the Sacred Beasts (YGOrg Translation), which also happens to give you access to Illusion Gate, another great board-breaker. With this versatility and backed with such raw OTK power, the Crusadia are sure to lead you to victory!
